"Pichu!"

The loud noise startled Sephiroth out of his half-finished nap, and he opened one eye to see this...minuscule yellow mouse staring up at him, wagging its little black tail. "Pichu!" It chirped again, and ran up to him, trying to climb up his sword.

He knew this insufferable little rat quite well. It seemed to think he was its best friend, or something along those lines, and it only got in his way. Even more so than Cloud.

"Shoo. Go away. I have a fight in five minutes." Sephiroth grumbled, pushing away the Pichu with his boot. It tilted its head, and ran up to him once more, pulling on his jacket. "You have to be kidding me. What do you want?"

Pichu, happy to be acknowledged, jumped up and down and ran back toward Sephiroth's sword, picking up something it had dropped. It was a keychain with a weird mouse head on it, and it looked a little familiar to him.

But not that familiar.

"Is that it?" Sephiroth snapped to Pichu, pocketing the keychain. The mouse squeaked again, and clambered up onto his shoulder, causing Sephiroth to hiss and try to swat it away. "I said get lost!"

A sudden roar echoed through the battlefield, and Pichu jumped in fear, burying its head into Sephiroth's shoulder. He rolled his eyes and looked up to see the enormous, bony lavendar lizard he was told he would be fighting. "So, it's Ridley, isn't it?" He muttered, letting his wing spread to its full length. "Good. This should be-"

An enormous bolt of lightning crashed from the sky, causing Sephiroth to jump back, and completely roasting Ridley beyond belief. The dragon squeaked, coughing up some smoke, and went flying off as fast as it could.

Pichu clambered up Sephiroth's wing and glanced at him, clapping his tiny little paws together excitedly. "You are infuriating." He hissed, picking Pichu up by the tail, dropping it to the ground, and turning to walk away. The mouse tried to follos him, squeaking all the while, but Sephiroth picked up the pace and left it behind.

"Good riddance." He muttered. "Maybe next time I can have an actual fight."

The next day, Pichu came back. And this time, it brought a friend.

Sephiroth tried to ignore it, but it was tough, especially with the annoying pink puffball rolling at his feet. "What do I need to do to convince you we are not friends?" He muttered, as the stupid rat chased its friend around in a circle.

Kirby waved his pink stub to Sephiroth, not hearing what he said. It was an infuriating little creature that loved to steal Sephiroth's powers and throw megaflares all willy-nilly. He hated it.

The Pichu stopped suddenly and his ears perked up, looking toward two voices coming from farther away. Sephiroth glanced up as well and he hissed under his breath.

Cloud.

"I'm really excited to get to know everyone!" There was another voice with the blond soldier, one that Sephiroth didn't recognize. "We should try Min-Min's resturant! I heard the noodles were really good!" Pichu grabbed Sephiroth's jacket and pulledon it, pointing excitedly to the two warriors, who were just entering.

Cloud saw him first, and almost visibly panicked, looking around erratically. "We should go-" The other warrior, some brown-haired kid with a giant key. noticed Sephiroth next and...got excited. "Hey, it's Sephiroth! Remember me? Sora? I fought you in the Dark Depths!"

Sephiroth had never seen this kid in his life. "I don't know who you are." He responded bluntly, trying to ignore Pichu tugging on his jacket. Sora paused, before suddenly noticing Kirby. "Oh hey Kirby! You're friends with Sephiroth too?"

Cloud finally grabbed Sora's arm and yanked him away. "Sora, time to go!" He said frantically, trying to ignore Sephiroth smirking at him. Sora wriggled out of his grasp. "Hey, wait, I didn't ask yet!" He turned back to Sephiroth. "Have you seen a keychain with a mouse head on it? I lost it two days ago and I've been asking around since."

Before Sephiroth could say "No", Pichu burrowed into his pocket and pulled out the keychain, before rushing up to Sora with it in its mouth. "Hey, there it is! Thanks Sephiroth and Pichu!" Sora reattached the keychain to his key and walked off with Cloud, who was still sweating bullets. "You aren't that bad, after all."

Sephiroth picked up Pichu, who squealed excitedly. "I'm never getting rid of you, am I?" He grumbled.

The mouse squeaked and nuzzled his face in response. He sighed.

"I suppose I am not."

******

Just a short little drabble with Pichu and Sephiroth.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited for Sora. He's cool. Although, contrary to what half the internet says, no Sephiroth is not afraid of the child wielding some magic car keys. He literally brushes off the fight in KH2.

Mini rant aside, I'm not sure what to write next. I'll figure it out.

Vote, comment, etc. Have a good day/night everyone!
