I hadn't seen Brendon in a week, that was the good thing. Cedric wouldn't let me be alone anymore, It's like I had a bodyguard. It was a little excessive really, but he cared about me and I knew he wouldn't stop.

Anthony was the first to catch on with what Cedric was doing. He had pulled me aside one afternoon in the courtyard.
"Lexie, Cedric's been watching you like a hawk, what's up with that?" Anthony asked.
"Uhm, it's not a big deal. It doesn't matter" I didn't feel ready to tell him yet, I didn't know if I would ever be able to tell him. He gave me a confused look before nodding.
"Are you and Brendon okay?" He asked.
"No" I shook my head and looked away from him.
"What did he do?" Anthony said, I could tell he was getting angry.
"Come on" I grabbed his arm and pulled him towards one of the empty classrooms.

"If he did anything I swear-" He started.
"No you're not, Cedric already did that" I interrupted.
"Lexie what did he do" Anthony blurted, the annoyance laced in his tone.
"He um, he tried to touch me, after I told him no" I didn't meet his eyes. I was so ashamed of what happened. He probably wouldn't believe me. Nobody would believe me.

Anthony just pulled me into a hug and rubbed circles on my back.
"You didn't deserve that. It's not your fault, okay?" He whispered, kissing the top of my head lightly. I just nodded into his chest.

We walked out of the empty classroom to see people whispering and stealing glances at us.

No.

Absolutely not.

No.

I walked away, heading towards the library.
"Lex! Where are you going" Cedric called, jogging up to walk next to me.
"Library" I said, not giving him a single glance.
"I'll come with you" He said brightly.
"No. Go bother your girlfriend" That came out ruder than I meant it to me.
"Wha- oh. Uhm, I'm gonna go. Bye" He said quickly.
"Wait, I'm sorry that was rude, I wasn't trying to be. I just need some time alone, please" I grabbed his arm stopping him from walking away. His face had a deep blush across his cheeks.

His tense body relaxed after I had said that. He smiled at me and nodded. I did the same to him and set off towards the library.

I had realized that I still had a little bit of homework to do for this week. I moved towards the back, nobody usually sat back there. It had terrible lighting, but it was quiet.

Pansy and I would be performing our duet in choir today. I had been nervous for it all week. Everyone else in the club was amazing. They've obviously had practice or lessons before this.

I walked to the charms classroom a few minutes before we were all supposed to meet there. I was walking alone when someone came up to walk next to me.

"Hey, Lex" Cedric nudged my arm and smiled at me.
"Hi Cedric" I smiled.
"Where are we going?" He asked, grabbing my bag and lifting it over his shoulder.
"I'm going to choir, I don't know where you're going" I said, grabbing my bag from off his shoulder.
"I'm going too" He said walking in front of me and knocking on Flitwick's door.

Before I could say anything Flitwick opened the door.
"Oh, Mr.Diggory, Miss.Lupin, hello" Flitwick said cheerfully.
"Hello professor, I was just wondering if I could join your choir club, I know it's late but I really am interested it it." Cedric beamed proudly.
"Certainly! We would love to have you. We were just about to start as well" Flitwick said excitedly.

I walked in after Cedric feeling even more nervous than I was before. I walked over to Pansy and set my bag down in the corner of the room.

"Alright, Parkinson and Lupin, are you ready to perform?" Flitwick asked. Pansy and I looked at each other before nodding and walking to the piano. I pressed my finger down on the key as Pansy started to sing.

Alexandria: "See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns,

Pansy: "So I sneak out to the garden to see you"

Alexandria: "We keep quiet cause we're dead if they knew so close your eyes"

Both: "Escape this town for a little while"

I was a scarlet letter and my daddy said stay away from Juliet"

Both: "But you were everything to me,
I was begging you please don't go"

Pansy: "And I said"

Pansy: "I got tired of waiting,

The room was silent once the note had stopped on the piano. Pansy and I were surrounded by everyone staring at us in awe. Everyone had started clapping at once, the volume inside of the classroom had increased incredibly.
