August 1994

"What" I said blankly, darting my eyes between Dad and The woman. I couldn't believe it. I felt nothing but complete hatred towards her. She left dad and I. She didn't want us.

"Remus" The minister started, "You must know about the recent werewolf act, this evening the jury of the ministry passed the act. Laura, will escort you to Azkaban prison. Since she is Alexandria's biological mother, she will be taking full custody of Alexandria."

"Absolutely not!" I spoke up.
"Miss. Lupin, I apologize but you do not get a say in this" The minister said dully.
"Yes she does! She's the one who's getting her whole life messed up because of this stupid thing!" Sirius spoke angrily.

"I messed up, and now Im here to fix it! This is none of your business Black!" Laura had raised her voice.
"We raised her! We took care of her because you're to much of a selfish bitch to care about anyone but yourself!" Sirius was fuming. His hands curling into fists.

Laura walked over to dad, a spiteful look spread across her face. She had pulled out her wand and magically cuffed dads hands together. She slowly ran her finger along his jaw, before he jerked his away from her. He stood up, pushing past Laura, before walking towards the minister.

"Alexandria, grab your things we're leaving as soon as possible" Laura scoffed. She walked over to dad and grabbed him, they apparated out of thin air.

I didn't get to say goodbye to him.

My heart felt like it was in my throat. Tears threatened to fall down my face. We all stood there, frozen, nobody saying a single word. Sirius grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug.

"I'm not letting her take you" He whispered. I couldn't say anything, the tears slipped down my face. Sirius wiped my tears and pulled me in even tighter than before.

There was a loud crack in the tent. Laura was back.
"Ready to go?" She said, giving an evil smirk. Sirius and James stepped in front of me, blocking me from her.
"She's not going with you" James said, his fist curling tightly.
"She's my daughter, of course she's going with me" Laura stepped closer, eyeing me with anger laced in her tone.

"She's not your daughter, you didn't make any effort to raise her." James snarled.
"Oh of course she's mine Potter, she looks exactly like me! Except for her ghastly hair. I mean look at it." She said lazily.
"Shut your mouth before you say another thing that makes me want to hit you" Sirius said angrily.

"Was that a threat Black?" Laura smirked, stepping closer.
"Come on, we're leaving" She said, grabbing my wrist and pulling me towards her.
"Can I say goodbye at least?" I asked, the tears still present in my eyes.
"Fine, make it quick we need to get going" She scoffed.

I went over to Harry first. I pulled him into a tight hug.
"Harry promise you won't do anything stupid, please" I asked, wiping the tears from my cheeks. He nodded, tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

I turned to Ron, his face was a deep shade of red with a shocked look staring back at me.
I pulled him into a hug. He hesitated slightly, his muscles becoming tense before he hugged me back. This was the first time we've ever hugged.

Hermionie had tears streaming down her face. She pulled me into a hug, her hands visibly shaking as she pulled me in.
"I love you Mionie" I sniffled, breaking apart from the hug to see her tearful eyes.

Ginny had been sitting silently in an armchair. She looked up at me, sadness filling her freckled face.
"I don't want you to leave" She whispered, wrapping her arms around me.
"I know, I don't want to go" I sniffled.

Fred and George sat with their heads in their hands. They hadn't looked up as I walked towards them.
"Get up and hug me" I laughed. Fred looked at me with sorry eyes and hugged me tightly. George pulled me over to him as soon as Fred and I broke apart.
"Don't have to much fun without us darling" George sniffled, holding back tears.
"Trust me, I won't" I joked.

Charlie had horror spread across his face. He started blankly at the floor. With a shaky breath he stood and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. Tears fell from his eyes as we let go.

Bill looked at me with sorrow in his eyes. He's boy I've always had a crush on, and I have to say goodbye. I don't know if I'm ever going to see him again. He hugged me softly, placing a light kiss on the top of my head.
"Take care of yourself" He whispered. I nodded, a few stray tears slipping down my face.

Cedric got up as soon as I looked at him. He had a strange look on his face, confusion, maybe regret. He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me like it was the last time he ever would. Maybe it was the last time. We started into each other's eyes before breaking apart.

I gave Arthur a quick hug, thanking him for everything he has done for dad and I. James hugged me tightly, promising that he would tell Lily I loved her. Sirius had pulled me in for a long hug. He held on tightly, seeming like he never wanted to let go.

"Blah blah blah, let's go, get your things" Laura said, annoyance laced in her sultry voice.
I walked back to the room where I was going to share a room with Hermionie and Ginny. There was a pang in my chest, my heart feeling heavy realizing that this might be the last time I would see my family for years.

I walked back towards Laura, feeling nothing but anxiety rise inside of me. I gave them all a small smile, hoping they would think I'm going to be all right. I followed Laura out of the tent, saying nothing.
