Part 34- Help

Nat POV-
We got Y/N back to the compound as quick as we could and Tony called in one of his favours. A doctor arrived quickly and gave Y/N some light sedation allowing him to clean the wounds and remove debris without her feeling pain.
She'd been asleep for a while and I hadn't left her side. I felt guilty, almost if she hadn't been so upset then maybe she wouldn't have done this.

Wanda had stayed as well, I wanted to talk to her but I didn't know what to say
Wanda- are you doing okay?
Nat- honestly not at all, she knew this could have killed her but yet she did it anyway
Wanda- she was never going to let any of those kids get hurt, she's got a heart of gold
Nat- she did it because she thinks she deserve to be punished for her time at Hydra
I feel her grip tighten on my hand and she slowly starts to wake up

Y/N POV-
I open my eyes and see both Nat and Wanda staring at me
Y/N- what happened?
Nat- you don't remember the bomb?
Y/N- yeah I remember but both your faces look like someone died.
Wanda- that could have been you
Y/N- I hear that a lot but yet I'm still here

I try to sit up and Wanda helps, I can feel the burns but my arm is covered
Y/N- how bad are they?
Wanda- the doctor cleaned them up and sorted them out properly, he thinks they should heal but you'll have scars
Y/N- the doctor?
Nat- Tony was owed a favour so he used it for you
Y/N- that's generous. Now, can I have pizza?
I see them both start laughing
Nat- of course, I'll order you some now
Y/N- no pineapple, only psychopaths have pineapple
Nat- hey I like it
Y/N- my point is proven

Nat leaves and it's just Wanda with me now
Wanda- you really scared me
Y/N- it was stupid but I had to do it
Wanda- you could have waited for us
Y/N- there was 2 minutes left on the clock, the average leave time for the avengers in an emergency is over that
Wanda- and you couldn't let the school blow up
Y/N- it was better that I got hurt than any of those kids
Wanda- doc said you're going to need a lot of help doing basic things
Y/N- I'll be okay, I don't want to take anyone's time
Wanda- Stop. I've already spoken to Tony and I'm not going on any missions unless necessary and if I'm not here then Nat will be.
Y/N- you don't have to do this
Wanda- I love you, that means if you need me then I am all yours

Nat comes back with a couple pizzas and we spend the afternoon talking
Y/N- am I allowed to leave yet? Cause my bed is way comfier than this
Wanda- yeah, we can take you there now
Y/N- you are both staying right?
Nat- obviously

*1 week later*
My arm has started to heal, the first set of bandages have been removed and the burns don't look too bad. It gets wrapped often as the burns need to heal before being open.
Wanda and Natasha have taken good care of me and have barely left my side. Neither of them were required for missions.
They've made sure I have eaten the whole time as well as helping me change and shower, although I think they enjoyed that part.

I head into the kitchen and see them both stood there talking
Y/N- good morning
Nat- you are up early?
Y/N- I've got this stupid ceremony today and I honestly don't want to go. Do one of you want to put on the suit and pretend to be me?
Nat- you know we have to go as well right?
Y/N- ew really? I have to look at both of you as well, god this just went from bad to worse
I walk off laughing and they follow to start getting ready

We arrive at the ceremony and things are explained as to what is happening.
Security- you will all be stood behind the Mayor before he hands Sonny the award. You say thank you, shake his hand and smile for photos
Y/N- how exciting
Wanda punches my arm
Wanda- stop with the sarcasm, this is serious
She walks off and I mimic her behind her back, Peter joins in as we both start laughing
Steve- I literally work with children

The ceremony starts and I am waiting behind the mayor when my head starts to pound
I try to get into Wanda's head and she opens
Wanda- if you're bored, I swear to god
Y/N- J is here
Wanda- are you sure?
Y/N- yes Wanda and he's close
I scan around the audience but see nothing. He was smart so he would be hiding, I look at the building opposite and see a small glint from the roof
Y/N- GET DOWN!
I run over and tackle the Mayor to the floor as something strikes my leg. I roll over and see my leg is bleeding
Nat- hey are you okay?
Y/N- the bullet grazed my leg, he's on the roof

Steve and Nat take my hands as I teleport the three of us up there.
Y/N- you aren't going anywhere J
I clone myself multiple times and they all attack, one rips his mask off as we all look at him
Steve- Bucky?
We all look at Steve in confusion
Y/N and J- who the hell is Bucky?
Y/N- haha Snap!
I signal the clones to knock him out and they follow suit whilst he is distracted.
Y/N- I'll teleport him back to base and into the containment cell, I don't want him to wake up in the open.
Nat- I'm coming with you
Y/N- sorry, I forgot I had to have a babysitter
Nat- shut up
Y/N- make me
Nat- trust me, that can be arranged
I smirk as I take her hand and grab J before teleporting back to base.
