Hope POV

My heart races knowing familiy will be here soon. How I have multiple dreaded conversations awaiting me. It also makes me miss my mother, the way she would hug. 

I feel a tap on my back  "I DON'T LIKE THAT" I say grabbing them and throwing them on the ground

"What the h-hell Hope" Kaleb says laying on the ground

I cup my hands to my face and start letting out tears of fear. 

Being immediatly sent back to the party 

I run away as fast as I can trying not to look at the crowd I drew near.

I run through the woods until I'm at the peak of the hill underneath a glorious willow tree

I lay beneath it hugging my stomach and crying trying not to think about the party

I hear a vampire speeding through the woods.

Suddenly I hear Carolines voice "Hey it's ok Hope I'm right here" she says holding my head to her chest

"It felt so real" I say looking up at her crying

"I know honey" She says holding me tight 

Soon an extremely winded Josie makes it to the peak of the hill

"H....op.e" She swallows trying to catch her breath from the long run

Josie plops down right next to us 

She wraps her arms around me and caroline

I finally am able to stop crying after what felt like an hour

I lift up from Caroline and Josie and pull my phone out of my pocket

"OH MY GOD, IT'S SEVEN O'CLOCK MY FAMILY ARRIVED OVER TWO HOURS AGO"

Josie and Caroline are alarmed by my yelling.

"WE HAVE TO GET BACK NOW" I yell helping Josie up

"Hope calm down please, you could risk triggering another anxiety attack. It would be wise if we just walked" Caroline says holding my cold shakey hands.

We all walk back to the academy much to my dismay

We finally made it back to the academy after I bellyache about how we could just vamp speed

Caroline and I both walk to the office interupting a conversation with my extremely emotionly devestated family.

I try not to look at there faces hiding behind Caroline

"Hope" Freya says getting up to hug me I take a step back bumping into the door

"Hope do you want to get dinner with Josie, Lizzie, and I" Caroline says trying to give them time to talk and me space to get ready for all the future conversations

I look up at her and nod 

"We will be back in about an hour" Caroline tells the room as we walk out

"Thank you" I nod

"For what" Caroline winks
