Monster's Daughter (Legacies Fanfic)

Little One

"Hope" I chase her outside and She starts jogging faster.

"Hope stop"  I yell after her she keeps running

"Please Stop" I yell out of breath again"Hope I'm begging"

She stops walking but doesn't acknowledge me, I run up to her and she bows her head trying to hide her face. I lift up her chin to see her tear stained eyes "Baby" I say softly stroking her cheek and she starts sobbing. 

"Hey baby it's okay" I bring her into a hug and she pushes me away 

"Stop" she cries holding her arms 

"Whats wrong" I ask softly trying to calm her down.

"I am" She cries harder "I can't even be a good mother,Everyone won't stop watching and I can't breathe and without you I'm a wreak and it's not fair to you because I'm suffocating you and dragging you down with me" She cries sitting down with here knees to her chest in the grass trying to calm down.

I sit down in front of her and grab her hands "You aren't suffocating me, I love you more then you will ever believe and you are not a wreak you have been going through extremely difficult situations, also if you weren't a great mother then why were you worried about her all week."

"Thank you" She brings her knees down from her chest.

"I could bring hayley out here, so they will stop watching" I sugest

"That would be nice" She mumbles wiping tears away from her cheeks.

"Okay I'm going to go get her" I kiss her hand and run up to the house

I run into the house 

"What's wrong" Freya and Rebekah peel away from the window.

"A couple of things" I say picking up hayley 

"Is there something we can do" Rebekah asks in a worried tone.

"She feels like all eyes are on her and she feels suffocated because of it" I carry Hayley out the door.

Hope looks up at me and hayley nervously

Hayley coo's tugging my hair and giggling, It makes Hope smile wide which makes me smile.

I sit down next to hope with hayley.

I set her down on my lap and she babbles and taps hope's knee which causes her to tense up.

Hayley slowly climbs into hope's lap and pulls on her jacket

"Hello little one,It's nice to see you again"She smiles holding her in her arms
