Definitely Worth it

"Hope?" Cami steps out of her office letting Jed out.

"Hello" I look up from my hands embarrassed.

"Do you need to-" Cami starts

"Hope" Alaric sighs

"Yep" I hop up from chair and walk to his office

Alaric walks to his desk and places his head in his hands "You climbed on a teachers desk and you set the floor on fire along because you were passing notes instead of reading it you set it on fire." He sighs

"I apologized" I shrink in my seat

"But why did you do it" Alaric looks up annoyed

"A Deal" I shrug looking at my shoes

"What kind of deal and who" He asks angerily 

"Can't say" I quickly say

"Two weeks of detention, is that worth the deal" Alaric almost shouts

"Yep" I nod

"Dismissed, go back to your dorm Hope" He sighs

I grab my things and walk to Josie's room. I know she isn't there but being in the room just helps. I take off my shoes and slide into Josie's sheets wrapping myself in her blankets. Engulfing myself in her scent.

"Hope" Josie knocks on the frame of opened door

"It was Lizzie's fault" I mumble from under her comforter.

"I figured" Josie walks over sitting on the end of the bed.

She lifts up the comforter and smiles"Drawing attention has never really been your style.....Plus Lizzie is majorly chaotic in the sense of destruction of property, You are chaotic but in more of a accidental way"

I look up and nod "The floor wasn't supposed to catch on fire" 

"I know honey" Josie kisses my forehead.

"Lizzie's moving out" I mumble 

"That was the bet" Josie braids a strip of my loose hair.

"Uh huh" I try not to move

"Are you ok,baby" She kisses the top of my head letting go of the braid.

"Yes, other than the fact that I have two weeks of detention" I sigh.

"Maybe we can drive out to see Hailey this weekend" She suggests

"No that would draw to much attention plus .....I don't know if I even want to see her" I mumble

"Hope you've wanted to see her all week" Josie holds my hands "How about I drive us there you only have to stay for ten minutes and then we can get milkshakes and go home,"

"Ten minutes?"I ask

"ten minutes" She repeats

"Ok" I wrap myself in her blankets leaving her space to hop in next to me.

She climbs in next to me and I unwrap myself enough so I can cuddle her

"You know what else we can do without Lizzie walking in" I whisper in her ear

"Tell me more" She smiles before kissing me.

"Oh,I'll do better I'll show you" I grin seductively
