Chapter 39: Deirdre

"You saved me and my loyalty shall be to you" Deirdre said.

Himawari simply stared at her, "we will see with time of what you say is true. For now tell me about you."

"I'm Deirdre Himura. I use to be from the mist village."

Himawari immediately tensed, "I think we will have a problem then."

Deirdre shook her head, "we won't. I hate the mist village. I want nothing more than to destroy them."

"Why would you want to destroy your home?" Hayami asked.

"The mist village isn't my home. I'm from the Himura clan. In the mist village the Himura clan has a high position. The Himura clan is known for their talent in using genjutsu. We are all born with three circles on our shoulders that allow us to use genjutsu naturally. I was born different. I was able to use genjutsu but my ability extended further than that. I was able to control the air around me. When I mixed that with my chakra element, I became a "threat" to them. I was only 7 when they began to shut me out. I was degraded to the lowest rank, disowned for being different. The mist village sold me off to those psychotic scientists in hopes of getting rid of me and having them use my jutsu for that human weapon."

"If revenge is what you want we will help you get it. But would you be willing to go against your family? Would you be willing to kill them?" Himawari asked.

Deirdre for the first time had a small smile in her face, "I wish nothing more than to kill them, all of them."

"Then you are welcomed to stay with us."

"Who are you? I recognize Hayami as the chakra devourer"

Hayami laughed, "I haven't heard that Nick name in a long time."

Deirdre continued, "but I don't recognize you. You look around my age."

"I'm Himawari Uzumaki."

Deirdre gasped her face returning back to the same expression as before, "you're Naruto Uzumakis daughter? You're the daughter of the great hero of the shinobi war?"

Himawari nodded, "that is my father."

"So, you're out for revenge. You want to make them pay for killing your father. And Hayami wants to make them pay for killing her husband, the Kazekage."

Both Hayami and Himawari nodded.

"What a funny twist. Your father fought for peace and you will fight for revenge."

"I will do what should've been done" Himawari stated.

"I agree with you. The mist village is a threat to everyone. I don't know much about what the mist village had planned back then but I do know that their target was to get rid of your father. Now they use the "treaty" as protection to get away with crimes."

Himawari smirked, "it's good to know we will do good to the world by getting rid of them."

"It will, but for now we must train. You're still weak at genjutsu and I believe it will be intersting to see Deirdre's ability. She might be able to help you improve." Hayami voiced.

The girls began to train. Deirdre showing them what she was capable of.

Back at Konoha, Kakashi placed files on Konohamarus desk. "We found these in the cave. They are all files of children with great abilities. We are unsure if they have already been captured or if they are future targets. I believe they are future targets due to how some of them are from Konoha and they have not been captured yet."

Konohamaru skimmed the files. He saw the files of Shikadai, Tami, Kato, Kenzo, Himawari, Sarada, Boruto, and Inojin.

"Shikamaru, I want you to go over all the files and see if you find anything that can help us decipher how they chose their targets."

Shikamaru took the files in his hands, "this is going to be a drag."

"Your son and daughter are on those files."

Shikamaru skimmed through them and found his son and daughters name on their, "I will get right to it."

Hayami analyzed the moves done by both Himawari and Deirdre. She allowed them to stop.

"Deirdre, as you said your genjutsu is exceptional. I believe it's almost as good as Itachi's although it works differently. Your genjutsu works by making the enemy be in a trance like state. They focus on your birthmark unknowingly and that's when you trap them. Your ninjutsu is also very efficient for killing. I can see why they kept you at a distance you could've ended their life immediately. Although it does make a great weapon for killing it is not efficient for a fight since you could potentially kill the person unintentionally. Your taijutsu is pretty weak. We will need to work on it. Lucky for you, Himawari has Hyuga blood and their forte is taijutsu. You and Himawari will continue to train. She will help you with taijutsu and you will help her with genjutsu. I don't expect her to learn how to preform it but she needs to be able to get out of it or not get caught in it."

"What will you do?" Himawari asked.

Hayami smirked, "I will wait for both of you to be ready to take me on."
