"Maemi, you will come with me." Himawari told Maemi.
Maemi stood preparing her weapons. She never questioned Himawari's actions. She limited herself to following her orders and inputting her opinion when needed.
"Deirdre, you will follow us at a distance in case anything happens."
Deirdre nodded and followed the girls out. Today was the day Himawari's parents had died and it was also the day they had gotten closer to their goal. They just lacked a few points to be able to stike. They were closer than ever.
Deirdre stayed behind outside the leaf village. It was night already and their was barely any people awake. She saw from a distance as Himawari and Maemi entered the village without any trouble.
Himawari walked towards where her father was buried besides her mother. She placed the sun flowers she had gotten on both of their tombstones.
"I'm sorry I haven't visited you in a long time. I hope you will be able to forgive me, daddy. I know I am going against everything you fought for but what you fought for was destroyed long ago. Still, I'm sorry. I love you both."
"If you love them, then come back" a voice said.
Himawari stood not turning to face the voice. She extended her hand out stopping Maemi from attacking.
"It's too late to turn back" Himawari replied.
"You know that's a lie."
Himawari shook her head, "it's not, and besides I have no plans on returning, Kenzo-kun."
She turned to finally face him. She managed to keep a composed face but inside she felt as her chest tightened at the sight of him. She felt her air get caught in her throat as she suddenly forgot how to breathe.
He grew well. He is even more handsome than before. I wonder if he....
Shaking her head out of those thoughts she focused on analyzing his expression. Of course he didn't show any. They were both trained not to in the black anbu.
But in reality Kenzo couldn't keep his eyes off her face. He found it oddly hard to concentrate. Before him stood the girl he loved. The girl he would die for, the one he would do anything for. The one he would do anything to bring back to him.
She looks even more beautiful, but her eyes are too cold.
"It's too bad, we aren't letting you leave" another voice said.
Himawari couldn't say she was shocked to see them. She expected to bump into someone but not so many faces that mean something to her.
Boruto stood besides Kenzo and behind him Sarada and Sakura came to a stop.
Himawari leaned her head to the side slightly with a small smile on her face, "onii Chan."
"Come back, Himawari." Boruto said.
"It's good to see you are well" Himawari commented.
"You don't seem well" Boruto mentioned as he took in his sister's appearance. She looked thinner and her eyes lacked that brightness they held while they were kids.
