Camila's Pov
I look at my left side, where my gunshot wound used to be, in shock. Theo looks at me before he moves his hand to my right side and peels the bandages off of the claw wounds he left me with.

"What are you doing?" I ask him, confused on what he's doing.

"Just let it happen." he says as he carefully placed his hand on top of the wounds.

I gasp loud in pain and throw my head back against his shoulder, tilting my head upwards as I breathe heavily, tears of pain running down the outside of my eyes.

"Shh, it's okay." he whispers, nudging his nose to my cheek before pressing a small kiss on my cheek in comfort, leaving his lips on the skin of my cheek.

I breathe in heavily until the stinging sensation disappears and I'm only left with a slight pain. He lifts his hand up to reveal nothing there.

"H-how?"

"I don't know. But I'm glad it worked." he mumbles, wrapping his arms tightly around my waist.

We stay like that for a few moments until I realise. My ex boyfriend is hugging me and he kissed my cheek.

"I- uhm... I'm gonna text Scott." I say, quickly leaving his arms and hobbling across the room to get my phone.

I text Scott 'SOS' before I put my phone back down and limp back over to where Theo is, and I sit opposite him, my back against the wall. We sit in complete silence for a few minutes before he speaks up.

"So who are you dating?" he randomly asks.

"What?" I ask confused at the topic.

"Who are you dating? Brett? Liam? Scott?" he asks.

"I'm uh not dating." I say, fiddling with my fingers awkwardly.

"Oh." is all he says.

There's a few moments of awkward silence before Theo speaks up again.

"How come your all closer than before I...uhm left." he says, pausing in between words.

"Last year wasn't a good year. It sucked. People sucked. We're all closer now because of that I guess." I say, wondering why I'm even explaining this to him.

"People suck?" he questions and I awkwardly nod.

There's a small space of words before Theo blurts out.

"Am I one of them?"

I look up from my fingers and at his face before looking right back at the floor. I'm guessing he already knows the answer to that.

Theo stays quiet again, for a minute or two, before he decides to speak up again.

"Being away from you, being taken... it made me realise how much of an asshole I was to you. I should've never chosen power over you, I was so selfish and even more stupid for letting you go. The best thing I ever had was you and I let you slip through my fingers. I don't want anyone's power or anyone's pack anymore, that ruined me. All I could think of whilst being gone is how much I miss you." Theo admits.

I stare at him in shock as he starts to speak up again.

"I regret what I did. I really regret what I did to the pack. I used to be friends with these kids whilst growing up and I made them believe I was the same guy. The thing I regret most is what I did to you though. Everything I did to the pack was part of the plan but you...you weren't. If I knew that betraying the pack meant losing you then I never would've done it. I was so convinced that with Scott out of the picture then everything would be perfect. Now all I see is that your pack is family, and I don't have a family Or a pack. Or you. I'm gonna have to live with that for the rest of my life. I have to live with the fact that you want nothing to do with me and you'll never forgive me." Theo sadly confesses.

I stare at him, whilst he's just looking at the floor as he speaks. Blood running from the corners of his mouth. Tears pricking at the inner corners of his eyes. He looks like he's been through hell and back. His apology sounded honest and truthful and his eyes held a high level of sincerity in them. Seeing him this vulnerable and guilty hurt my heart. I sigh before speaking up.

"Hey Theo." I say and he looks up.

"If you help get us through this then I'll forget everything that happened and we can start over as friends." I say honestly.

His eyes suddenly spark with a twinge of hope.

"Really, you mean that." he asks and I nod.

"Thanks." he says quietly.

We just sit there, without saying anything, whilst we wait for Scott to come back. It's peaceful and I don't feel unsafe right now.

A few moments later
"As much as I want to hate you right now, I can't. And I want to know why? How did you manage to make me care about you? Even after everything you've done?" I question, breaking the silence as Theo looks up at me.

"Because you care about everyone, Cam...Camila." he corrects himself before speaking again.

"I don't know what Scott or the others did to put you in Eichen, but I know that you care enough to have forgiven them. And I just hope one day you can do the same with me."

A little while later
Scott, Liam and Mason walk inside the shack and see the Ghost Rider on the floor. Liam looks up and sees Theo sitting against the wall, but he doesn't see me.

He storms over to Theo and yanks him up off of the ground, pinning him against the wall by his shirt.

"Where is she? What did you do with the Ghost Rider?" he growls angrily in Theo's face.

"It was...it was Mr Douglas. He ate his brain or something like that." Theo stutters and Liam loosens his grip on Theo.

"Where is Camila then?" he asks pissed off.

"Behind you jackass." I say sarcastically and Liam turns around and the fear on his face washes away.

He quickly rushes over and stands me up from the ground, pulling me into a tight hug.

"Shit sorry, I forgot about the wounds." he apologises, quickly pulling away.

I don't look at him when he says that but I see him eye me suspiciously. He slowly lifts up my hoodie and sees nothing there. He puts it back down and looks confused.

"I don't know how." is all I say and he nods before turning back to the others, who are still looking at the Ghost Rider.

"Scott was right, I was wrong. I'm sending you back." Liam says and I look at Theo, who looks at me scared.

"It wasn't his brain. Mr Douglas ate his pineal gland." Scott observes.

"So it couldn't have been Theo. These murders have been going on for weeks." Mason says as Liam walks over to them.

"Hey guys. Where's his whip?" Liam asks.
