Molly Weasley had a second cousin who was a squib. He worked in accounts, she said. Actually, he owned a huge business, but that was muggle stuff, so it was basically the same thing. Her second cousin started a muggle family in America and she never heard of him again.
After the war with Voldemort, Molly held a huge family reunion. It was important, especially after they lost Fred. So she invited her second cousin over and he accepted. He sent her a letter back saying that he would bring his daughter over as well.
He arrived at The Burrow in an expensive suit. His daughter was dressed in paint splattered overalls. They both had the trademark red hair of the Prewetts'.
And that's how the Weasleys met Rachel Elizabeth Dare.
