Unreal Reality part 1

Serpenta walked in twirling her staff. There was evil intent burning in her eyes as she whistled excitedly.

"Girl, will you stop with that ridiculous noise?" Scaro demanded.

"I just came to say I plan to start my little game with the rangers." She inhales slowly then says, "Stay out of it okay?"

"Is that any way to speak to your father?!"

"Father, let me do this without your intervention!"

"Fine, do as you wish" he huffs.

She walks out gleefully but he just sighs, tapping his fingers on his throne impatiently. While thinking to himself of his own plan. Serpenta's plans simply did not work, but at the very least it drew the rangers' attention so that he could work on his own in peace.

Wolf performed a neat high kick but prepared, Carter ducked underneath and spins his leg to knock the red ranger over. Wolf hit the ground and immediately rolled back to his feet.

"Damn, good reflexes"

Carter laughed.

"I'm on a roll today"

The red ranger nods, before yawning.

"Let's take a break, I need a drink" he walks over and chucks Carter his blue towel while grabbing his own.

Carter sits down and gulps down some of his water.

"I may be on a roll but still, I'm tired." He looks over "You're distracted"

"Brody asked if I could be a teacher to his and Levi's younger classes next year..." he replies, "not sure if I should say yes or not"

"Well, do you have any other plans?"

"Not really, I've never been an academic person and to be honest, I'd prefer teaching martial arts over any other job..."

Carter claps him on the back gently.

"Well, there's the answer then. Do it!"

Wolf rolled his eyes.

"I'll think about it. What about you?"

"Me?" Carter leaned back a little "I haven't thought about what I want to do at all. I mean, maybe I'll just take a gap year. I'm not sure what I want to do with myself and my parents say there's no rush to work it out, after all I'm still young, yada, yada, yada"

Wolf laughed a little.

"Hey, if I agree to this teacher thing, you sure as hell have to come and co-teach a class at least once"

Carter smirks.

"I'll consider it" his smirk fades and looks down "Still, I don't want to think too much about the future. Right now, I'm more worried about Scaro..."

Wolf groans.

"Yeah, I know..." he runs a hand through his hair with a sigh "I really wish we didn't have to deal with him..."

"Take that Jacob! Special Beam Cannon!" Josh announces proudly, before putting his controller down as the screen displays the words:

Winner! Player 1!

Jacob groans loudly, gently punching his friend.

"Damn it, next time Joker I swear!"
