A legacy to uphold

Carter sat on a very comfortable chair in the base in front of a screen Nira had set up with some help from Zar.

"So, you can actually show me some ranger history?" Carter asked skeptical. I mean come on? How would she even get footage of half the stories Wolf had told him?

"Of course what do you want to see?" Nira asked. Though she was sure she already knew.

"Can I see the blue rangers? The ones who came before me?" Nira smiled.

"Why did I have a feeling you would say that?" she pressed a few buttons "each time a ranger comes up I'll tell you about them and we might as well start from the first-"

"Nira! Wait up!" Wolf cried running in "Oh my gosh Carter you weren't gonna start without me were you?" he asked a little offended.

"Only if you were late" Nira began to play a video and Wolf quickly sat down.

She cleared her throat.
"One day the evil sorceress Rita Repulsa escaped from her space dumpster on the moon..." she trailed off seeing the really confused expressions of her rangers "what?" she asked pausing the video.

"A space dumpster...?" Carter echoed

"On the moon...?" Wolf added

"Yes, a space dumpster on the moon. It was the best they had at the time alright? Anyway" she played the video again "the wise sage known as Zordon as his loyal assistant Alpha 5 called upon 5 teenagers with...eh hem...attitude" Wolf laughed at her expression. It appeared Nira wasn't very happy with Zordon's ranger choosing methods.

"Go on" He smiled.

"These rangers were..." first a girl appeared. She wore mostly yellow and appeared to be of Vietnamese descent. "Trini Kwan, the yellow ranger she was granted the power of the Sabre-tooth tiger"

The next ranger was a boy in blue he had glasses on and looked very awkward in fights.
"This is Billy Cranston the blue ranger and the wielder of the mighty triceratops powers"
Next was a boy in a black top with coloured stripes. He was dark skinned and seemed to mix fighting moves with dance moves.

"Zachary Taylor or Zack, the black ranger and the wielder of the Mastodon powers" the next was a girl with long hair who was a gymnast of some kind and wore lots of pink.

"Kimberly Anne Hart, the pink ranger and the master of the Pterodactyl powers" Nira smiled as the final ranger came onto the screen a boy in a red top a clear fighter who looked like a natural leader.

"And the leader, the very first red ranger...Jason Lee Scott. He was granted the powers of the Tyrannosaurus" Wolf smiled at his predecessor.

Wolf looked to Nira.
"Can you tell us about them?" she nodded

"Well your predecessor Wolf was a born leader. He looked after his team and he knew well when someone was his ally this is how the most well-known ranger first joined their team" Wolf knew who she was talking about immediately as another image popped onto the screen...a boy in a green tank top with the team shaking hands with Jason.

"Tommy Oliver!" Wolf cried excited

"Yes, you know him well done" Nira then turned to Carter. "The blue ranger Billy was extremely intelligent he always thought of clever plans and ways to solve problems the other rangers could not think of. Even after he stopped being a power ranger he remained a help for a long time" Carter looked away slightly it seemed like his predecessor and he were very different people. How could he actually live up to that?

"They as I said were granted Dinosaur power...somewhat like how you were granted elemental powers from your gems. Only, yours' can manifest more physically than theirs could"
