Red is not my colour Pt 1

The rangers were all walking home from school talking and laughing. Wolf smiled a little at his team.

"You know guys" he started "when this whole mess first started I was excited but still really worried" Carter nodded.

"I know right? I had no clue what was going on. I guess I still don't" he laughed "but at least we've sort of gotten used to it now. Alice how's Vera handling your missing meetings?" Alice shrugged.

"I don't know if she likes it much but at least thanks to Ngadria I'm not getting kicked off"

Josh looked at her and took a breath "Does the lady want a hand with her bags?" he asked hamming it up. Alice rolled her eyes and glared.

"Josh if you keep that up I will kick you" Josh raised his hands in self-defence.

"No! No! That's fine!" Ngadria laughed at them and nudged Josh.

"Didn't I warn you about Alice like...the day we became rangers?"

"Yeah...but that's cause I threw paper at her head"

"Why'd you do that anyway?" Alice asked a hint of annoyance in her voice. Josh sighed and slipped into his pocket pulling out the scrunched up piece of paper "And why do you still have it?"

"Uh...well...I actually...w-wrote something on it...uh...I'll give it to you later" he mumbled, blush creeping on his face.

Wolf laughed at him. Josh could be the biggest jokester around but around Alice he can barely get his words out. It's funny to watch. They were about to split to do their separate things when a group of Oretrons flooded out.

Everyone took stance quickly.
"Jeez, why now?" Alice asked. Wolf shrugged then heard his morpher go off.

"Go for Wolf!" he quickly said into the morpher.

"Rangers, there is a monster attacking the TV station head there immediately"

"Would love to, problem. We're surrounded by Oretrons"

"You'll have to split up" Wolf nodded.

"Carter, Ngadria. You guys come with me to the TV station. Alice, Josh do you guys mind handling these guys then meeting us there?"

The green and purple rangers nodded.
"We'll wipe the floor with these things" Josh joked.

The other rangers made their way to the TV station curious about why a monster would want to attack there. What they found...was quite a surprise.

Ngadria gasped quietly as she spotted the monster and a bunch of Oretrons trashing the place while in front of some workers at the station a man in a red top fighting them off.

"Who's that?"

"Brody, an old friend" Wolf explained

"Brody that name sounds familiar"

"Come on let's help"

"Wolf shouldn't we morph first?" Wolf shook his head.

"Trust me on this one" they ran out and started to take on the foot soldiers and get some of the workers out of the building.

"Brody!" the man turned and saw Wolf.

"Wolf? What are you doing here?" Wolf rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"My friends and I...we uh...heard noises and explosions coming from in here we decided to check it out" he lied "good thing too. Looks like you could use a hand" Brody nodded appreciatively.
