War of the Realms Part 1

"Sapphire! Guardian of Nobility! Lend me your heart! Sapphire Shield!" he declares, his shield appears in his hand as he faces down the hoards of Oretrons "Honestly this must just be overkill at this point"

He sees Phira standing at the end of the hallway, leaning on her staff and frowns behind his helmet. He'd have to take her out to make them retreat...good plan. He turns slightly as some nurses start to run past.

"Move as many patients as you can, I'll help the ones trapped in the hallway here!"

"But what about the ICU patients blue ranger!? We can't move them!"

He shoots a look back to Phira then to the sign that puts out the location of the Intensive Care Unit. Honestly, he was shocked Adam wasn't there.

"Got it. You just do as I said, I'll keep them safe!"

"G-Got it!"

She runs off and they start blocking off access to as many patients as they could. Carter turns his focus back on the onslaught.

"Alright...let's do this...Calling on the waves of the cunning serpent! Aqua...Twister!"

He sends his glowing shield spinning towards the oretrons, containing its power as much as possible so as not to cause too much damage. Phira hisses and phases away from the attack appearing in front of him.

"Ridiculous" she blasts him backwards before he can even react. "Now, if you'll excuse me"

She phases away once again, more Oretrons and Crystallites pouring in to fill the space where she was.

He lands just outside the window into Ngadria's father's hospital room, he looks over seeing Ngadria looking at him nervously. He inhales deeply, standing back up as best he can, summoning his geo sword.

Ngadria grits her teeth, she can't just watch this. She turns, immediately going to leave the room but her mother grabs her hand tightly.

"What are you doing?"

"Mum, why are you stopping me?"

"Are you not seeing that!?" Her mother demands "I can't watch you put yourself in danger, just stay here where you're safe!"

"But what about Carter?!"

"The blue ranger will make sure he's okay"

Ngadria looked out to Carter as he blasted backwards again.

"B-But...I-"

"Ngadria, I haven't the faintest clue what's gotten into you but you are staying right here"

"I'm glad we've gotten to hang out today"

"Same here" Jacob chuckles, "Don't worry, we'll get to hang out more soon I'm sure"

Suddenly they heard loud explosions nearby, Jacob immediately stands up, eyes scanning the environment around him as screams filled the air. Eve stumbled out of her chair, startled.

"I-It's th-those monsters!!" she screams.

She turns to run only to be crowded by Crystalites. Jacob grabs her arm, pulling her close.

"Stay here" he kicks a couple of Oretrons back, pulling her back towards the table.

She looks around in a panic.

"J-Jacob!! What do we do?!"

"Just...just stay close, don't hit the crystal ones, they hurt like hell"
