Nira sat in the base thinking over the events that have occurred in such a short time. These new rangers, new Jewelite warriors had so far bested every threat come their way. With a little help from some of the past heroes of the earth of course.

But she couldn't help but worry, Serpenta had certainly many tricks up her sleeve, a sorceress such as she would not be deterred easily. She would also avoid falling into the trap many threats to the earth had found themselves in previously, Serpenta would not mindlessly send monsters into battle as if awaiting the day destruction would befall her.

No. She had some sort of plan. These attacks, and on certain days a lack of, were distractions. Meant to deter the rangers and by extension, Nira, from discovering what Serpenta is searching for.

If Nira's memories served her right, it was surely the Diamond Serpenta was searching for but as she and her sister had learnt long ago...the Diamond is not so easily found as much as it can be easily misplaced.

"My Lady?" Zar asked, walking in "Are you alright? You seem very deep in thought"

Nira nodded.
"I am fine, just deep in thought as you said. Nothing to be concerned about, I am merely occupying my time"

Zar sat down next to Nira.
"My lady I mean no disrespect but I have been with you a long time, through thick and through thin I know when there is something troubling you" he said calmly before adding "it is Sera is it not?"

Nira's eyes widened.
"Zar...I asked you not to speak of her"

Her companion only sighed.
"She was your sister Lady Nira, but she was also our clan's greatest warrior, I mean no ill will towards you by bringing her to the light again but my Lady..." he looked away "You cannot simply erase her from your mind and act as if she were dead"

Nira stood, turning her back on her ally.
"She may as well be...and what I would not give to have her back Zar but it is not possible and-" a wave of nausea spread through her "Oh no, please do not...Zar did you sense that...?"

"My lady? No I did not"

"No..." she looked over to the Seer crystal in worry "Zar, call the rangers. Now"

Her companion stood and immediately went to do as ordered while Nira clenched her hands together nervously.
"I knew it was only a matter of time..."

Ngadria and Alice were currently at the bakery, Eve's father's bakery to be specific.
They had decided after school that seeing as neither had any kind of practice today it would be a good time to hang out and enjoy themselves.

"One month, nearly to the day" Ngadria chuckled "Can you believe it?"

Alice sipped on a can of soft drink she had with her.
"It feels like we've been at it for only a few days" She paused as she heard a beeping sound.

Eve heard it too as she came in from back behind the bakery.
"Hm? whose phone is that?" Alice raised a hand jokingly.

"That'd be mine" she grabbed her handbag with a smile "I'll just go check it" she left with a wink.

Eve shook her head.
"Your friends are weird"

"They're cool" Ngadria smiled slightly, leaning closer to her younger friend. "I could say your friends are weird too, then again if I said that Alice would probably be annoyed seeing as you're friends with Vera" Ngadria chuckled.

"Ngadria!" Eve said angrily.

"I'm joking, I'm joking"

The familiar sound of the bakery's bell. In came Vera and Sky.
"Good afternoon Eve!" Sky smiled. Eve waved at him and started to wipe down the counter.
