Nira was quietly trying to locate Ross, difficult when he doesn't have a ranger signature to track but with his father worried sick in the other room she wasn't stopping.

Adam was trying to get his Turbo Morpher to work, it looked like it'd been damaged a little from the sparking that happened when the powers were cut off. He groans quietly, he couldn't do anything without any tools and he really wanted to busy himself right now.

Zar walked in to meet with the rangers, all sitting in what should basically just be called a common room at this point.
"As I suspected, Serpenta has temporarily disconnected your morphers" he explains "The gems will repair that situation quickly but it may take time for your weapons to be functional again"

Jacob looked at Adam then back to Zar.
"What about his morpher?"

"Adam, don't you have more than one?" Carter asked, "you could grab one of those?"

Zar shook his head.
"Unfortunately, even with his larger number of powers Adam will not be able to morph. The surge used to disconnect the morphers would flow through the morphers following the energy signature"

Wolf raised an eyebrow.
"And that means...?"

"It means that its not just this Turbo Morpher that's been cut off" Adam clarifies "its follow my ranger signature so its probably cut of my Zeo and mighty morphin powers. I wonder if this is going to effect Carlos too, this is his spare morpher"

"It is very possible that Carlos' space powers have been disconnected as well, yes." Zar agrees "I believe your powers will reboot in time; this is not a severe power surge"

Adam groaned.
"My others might but when the morpher cut out it started sparking, I think it got damaged" he looks it up and down "its not as bad as the original morpher, that thing had to deal with an explosion. If I had my tools, I might be able to fix it..."

The rangers looked at each other in surprise.
"You've repaired morphers?"

Adam nods, putting the morpher down on the table in the middle as Zar noticeably smiles and walks out.
"Yeah, it was something I tried to teach myself how to do back when I first used the damaged Mastodon powers" he explains "When I realised it still worked I started trying to fix it, of course, I could fix the morpher itself but the coin was way out of my area of expertise. That's when sentinel knight asked for me to help him and the Operation Overdrive rangers. He repaired my coin. I helped fix those rangers' morphers too actually"

Carter smiled, nodding.
"Impressive"

Adam chuckles.
"I mean, I'm no Billy but I know my way around a morpher or two"

Ngadria looked curious.
"You mentioned the original Turbo morpher is damaged. Why have you not tried to repair that?"

"I have. The issue is that morpher is connected to the morphing grid through the Power Chamber and that was destroyed over a decade ago. This one is connected to Desert Thunder, the Green Turbo Zord." He looks thoughtful "since I didn't have any technology similar to the morpher and I thought Desert Thunder had been destroyed I just...gave up, but since I know where Desert Thunder is I might try and repair it again"

Zar comes back in with a box of tools, he's smiling at Adam who raises an eyebrow curiously.
"Adam? You may not be aware, but I am the one who created the morphers the Jewelite rangers use. I would be more than willing to assist in your repairs"

"Thanks, I appreciate that" he opens the box and the two start to get to work, with Josh curiously watching them. The idea of being able to repair a morpher yourself sounded both pretty damn impressive and extremely helpful so he wanted to see if he could pick up any tricks.
