It's just bad timing

Hoo boi was this episode a doozy to write. *Pratically faints from the hours of non-stop writing* Hope it was worth it for the kind of chaos I'm inflicting.

"See you Brody!" Wolf smiles, waving as he starts on his way home after today's class.

He didn't get far from the dojo when he heard someone calling to him. Turning he saw a boy running over.

"Uh...hi Wolf right?"

Wolf looks the boy up and down before it clicks to him who it is.

"Oh you're Ross right? I see you decided to keep coming to Brody's classes" he laughed, gesturing for the kid to follow as he walked "I thought that monster attack might've scared you off. Trust me they don't happen every day"

Ross almost looked disappointed.

"Really? That was the most fun I've had since I started staying here"

Wolf laughed, raising an eyebrow at him.

"You don't live here?"

"Nope, just staying here for a while, just while my dad's on work stuff"

Wolf nods before looking towards the park.

"I was gonna meet with my friend Carter. You wanna come too?"

"Sure!" Ross seemed to be quite excited by that "he was the guy in the blue top the other day right? Guess the monster attack scared him off"

"Nah, he didn't want to come in the first place" The red ranger explained as they neared Carter who was chilling out having a drink he'd clearly just been training "He's content with just training between us two and another friend of his"

Ross nods in understanding.

"I get that."

Carter heard the two and turned.

"Hey Wolf! Oh hi Ross, nice to see you again"

"You two Carter"

Wolf shook his head in disbelief

"How come you can remember the dude straight away?"

Carter looked genuinely surprised.

He calmly points to the bandanna around Ross' neck.

"Someone who can pull that off so well isn't hard to forget"

Ross turns a little red, pulling his jumper up over the bandanna.

"t-t-thanks...."

Carter smiles standing up and clapping him on the back gently.

"don't be so awkward. Show some self confidence dude"

"I don't have much of that"

Wolf sits down and gestures for the other two to follow.

"Might as well introduce ourselves properly, my name is Wolf Waters."

"Carter Orion" the blue ranger smiled, he stretched slightly "I know we shared first names and stuff but we barely spoke before that nuts attack the other day"

Ross nods awkwardly.

"Yeah, glad that the power rangers showed up"

"Yup" Wolf replied, the two rangers shared a knowing look "that was lucky"

Serpenta growled, pacing back and forth. About an hour prior her throne room had been rocked by a massive wave of magical energy.
