Turbo Charged Part 1

Welcome to Power Rangers Jewelite episode 20! ^^ I'm quite proud of myself. Fitting too that for a personal milestone such as this the episode is tributing the series that made me fall in love with power rangers!

Now... onto the episode!

Ross was looking through some old photo albums of his dad's, he was proud that he was able to name some of the people in the photos.

"Ross?" His dad asked as he came out holding...a small black box? "Why are you looking through those old things?"

Ross chuckled.

"Well, I have a big assignment due when I get back to school. It's about family and stuff"

His dad leaned down to look, smiling a little.

"I remember that..." he straightened up and nods "Well just remember to put them back okay?"

Ross nods.

"Of course" he glances at the box "what's that?"

The ranger chuckled.

"A gift. I'm visiting Carlos"

"Jeez, guess I shouldn't expect you back anytime soon"

"What do you mean?"

"Dad, whenever you and Uncle Carlos get together you're gone for hours on end" Ross laughed.

"Eh...Well I'm only heading down to the park. It'll be no more than an hour I should think" he opens the front door and winks "If I'm not back after an hour just call me and check in okay Ross?"

"Got it!"

"And if you cook yourself anything while I'm gone please try not to burn the house down. Please?"

Ross grumbles.

"You have such little faith in me"

"No. I have complete faith in you, it's your cooking skills I don't have faith in" he heads out the door with a smile. That smile vanishes the second the door shuts.

He stares at the small box, holding a very valuable object.

"Hopefully this is the edge you need to get out of there"

With that he heads off to where Carlos normally trained.

Ross spent a little longer looking but this was all really boring stuff to talk about. Family get togethers and highschool reunions are all well and good but man Ross genuinely didn't find his dad's life very interesting outside that dojo of his.

"Hm...." A thought came to mind "What about that keepsakes box....?" he wondered to himself, of course he'd never disobeyed his father in regards to the keepsakes box. Even when he was younger he was told that was the one thing he could never touch....

The teen thought about it for a while longer.

"He's visiting Uncle Carlos, he'll be gone for at least an hour....it's...not too big a deal if I peek" he smiled standing up to go get the box....

"What he doesn't know can't hurt him"

"Ack!" Justin once again was slammed into a wall, the key falling out of his pocket and sliding behind some boxes.

"Crystal Blaster! Aqua Laser!"

"Crystal Blaster! Lighting Laser!"

The two blasts caused a small explosion sending Arsenic back a few meters. Wolf quickly rushed in behind Alice and Carter while Josh, Ngadria and Jacob helped hold off Oretrons.
