Just a warning, there'll be less power ranger fighting in this episode. Also this episode is a jerk to Ngadria. Like a really big jerk and yeah...I feel bad for writing it but it gives depth to characters and...um other plot things I can't reveal too early...sorry...

There was a crash. A bang, annnnd milk on the floor.

There was Eve. On the ground.
"Dang it! I tripped again?" a hand reached down to help her up.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine thanks Ngadria. Though...the floors been in better shape. Dad's not gonna be happy" Ngadria went behind the counter of the bakery where Eve, the new girl at school, helped her father.

"I'm sure I can get this cleaned up before he get's back" Ngadria smiled holding a spray bottle and sponge.

"You? It's my mess. I'll clean it. You're a customer not a worker" Ngadria ignored Eve and started cleaning "Ngadria"

"No. Sorry. I want to help" Eve only shook her head. In the short time she'd known Ngadria the girl had already proved to be incapable of not helping.
Spending nearly every hour of her free time doing something for other people.

"Jeez Ngadria. You're too nice" Ngadria looked up for a moment.

"Well as my mother says" she started with a huge smile on her face "A little bit of kindness never killed anyone!" the yellow ranger then went straight back to work.

"Well, with how much you share it'll probably kill you" Eve joked taking the spray bottle out of Ngadria's hands "Now get going. Don't you have friends to meet up with?"

"I'm sure they won't mind waiting a little longer" Ngadria said as she struggled to get the bottle out of Eve's hands "and I seriously doubt that it'll kill me"

I face far worse dangers then being too kind on a daily basis nowadays. Ngadria added silently. It wasn't far off the truth. Being a ranger was really taking up any of the little free time she had left and some of the time she didn't have, it wasn't uncommon to come home exhausted from fighting Serpenta's latest monstrosity.

"It'll kill me watching you. Go on. I'll be fine. Dad won't be home for another hour and it isn't that big a mess" Ngadria looked at her bag uncertain. Carter and her had planned on meeting at the base soon to do some more ranger history sessions as well as study for their most recent test.

"You sure you'll be alright alone?"

Eve nodded with a smile on her face.
"Ngadria I'm only a year below you. It's not like I'm a kid I'll be fine"

Ngadria nodded picking up her bag.
"Alright, just call me if you need anything okay? Anything at all"

"I know. How will you get home?"

"Not heading home straight away" she smiled "meeting a friend. I'll catch the bus. See you at school tomorrow Eve"

"Bye Ngadria!"

The yellow ranger rushed out the door and walked to the park finding Carter already packing up.
"Training alone today? I thought you normally train with that Carlos person" Carter nodded.

"Yeah, he couldn't today. Said something about a reunion or something? Probably a high school one or something" he joked.

"Maybe. Well...it looks a bit crowded here" the blue ranger nodded.

"Over there. We can vanish without anyone so much as batting an eye over there"

"Sounds perfect"
