Emerald-Eyed Jealousy

Josh walked through the streets of Ore Beach. His city didn't actually have a very large beach but the city's name has never changed because of it.

He and the rest of the team were going to meet at the theme park to hang out and get to know each other better.
"Hey! Carter, Wolf!" he called running up.

"Nice to see ya here Josh"

"We're here too!" Ngadria yelled coming up from behind with Alice in tow. Josh smiled.

"Nice to see you girls here. Now the question is, which is the greater thrill? The rollercoaster or seeing me?" Alice glared daggers at him.

"My question is: is your brain the size of an acorn or an ant?" Josh sighed in mock pain.

"Ooh! I'm hurt" secretly Josh had always had a crush on Alice but his own nature meant he couldn't help but act goofy around girls.

"Well guys let's head in!" They started to walk in when monsters suddenly appeared around them. They looked coal-like and had a brown, smoky gem on their foreheads some were holding giant blades.

"What are these things?" Carter shrugged.
"I don't know. You think we have time to ask?" Alice whacked him.

"No! We don't have time to ask! Come on let's move it!"

They each rushed in.

One tried to punch Josh but he stopped it with his hand. He turned around and punched one behind him then elbowed the first one. Dropping to the floor he used his leg to knock the one he elbowed over.

Carter jumped in as well and he grabbed the foot of a monster as it kicked him. Carter kicked the monster then let go of its leg performing a neat spin kick to the monster's chest. Turning he saw Ngadria pinned by another he tapped it on the shoulder then took it out with a blow to the face.

"There you go"

"Thanks" Ngadria turned just in time to catch a monster's punch grabbing its arm and pushing it away from her. With a smile on her face, she turned and sent the monster flying into Alice who promptly stopped it with her hand.

The monster steadied itself only to be slammed in the chest and dropped to the floor it got back up so she kicked it three more times.
"Stay! Down! Got it?!" Alice yelled. Turning she grabbed the blade of another and twisted it out of the monster's hands knocking it to the ground with it.

Last was Wolf he had three monsters on him. He was grabbed by his shirt collar by one and another grabbed his arms.
"Three against one? That's just unfair" he joked, while kicking the one behind him and struggling to free himself from the other's grip. He noticed his teammates surrounded and more monsters escaping into the theme park.

"You guys go!" He yelled.

"You sure?" Josh called back

"Yeah! Hurry! I'll hold off these guys!"

Josh looked to the others.
"You heard red over there let's go. It's morphin' time! Emerald star!"

"Sapphire star!"

"Amethyst star!"

"Topaz star!"

"Lock and load!"

"Ranger might! Jewelite!"

~ MORPHING SEQUENCE ~

The rangers took a stance as their Morphers took up residence on their wrists.
Their colour circled around them until they were dressed entirely in their ranger suits being mostly their unique colour apart from some places like their gloves and boots which were white.
