Power Rangers Jewelite

Treacherous? Part 2

The familiar silver blade of the Jewelite Sabre Morpher swung down towards Josh, he rolled to the left narrowly missing the blade as he stared up in shock at his best friend.

"J-Jacob!? What the hell dude!?"

The silver ranger says nothing only going in for another swing, Josh scrambles to his feet dodging right to avoid another swing and quickly getting into a fight position. He eyes Jacob in disbelief, how could this have...why would he...? None of it made sense.

"Jacob, whatever Serpenta's done...y-you've gotta-" he's cut off quickly dodging a blast from the morpher. The blue eyes looking down the blade of the sabre seemed lacklustre and empty. As if they'd lost their usual goofy spark.

"You would do well not to speak ill of my lady" he says in a strangely calm voice "she ordered me to destroy you not to do it quickly"

Josh frowned, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. He didn't have time to process it as Wolf came in and grabbed Jacob's arm.
"Dude, stop!"

The silver ranger's eyes shifted to the red ranger before, without uttering a single word, he slammed the hilt of his sword into Wolf's chest then ripped his arm away and knocked the red ranger back with one well place kick to the stomach.

"Jacob!" Josh shouts "stop this! What's going on?! This isn't like you!"

"J-Josh...n-no time. L-Let's go" Wolf says as he stands up slowly.

"No" The green ranger replies "not while Jacob needs our help!"

In a split second, Jacob has the green ranger pinned to the wall. Sabre pressing gently against his neck.
"Whoever said I needed your help?"

"J-Jacob..." Josh stares the silver ranger in the eyes "please, what happened to the guy who's got the guts to say to my face that Gohan is better than Piccolo?"

It was an extremely out of place thing to say, but he was sure if this was really the Jacob that he had befriended there would be...some sort of reaction.

The Silver ranger's sword was knocked out of his hands and Josh's arm grabbed by Wolf who also grabbed Lilian's and started pulling them towards the weak point. The green ranger didn't have time to debate the red ranger's actions.

"Lets go!"

Nira's eyes widened as Wolf called in.
"Nira, teleport us back now!"

She doesn't even respond, quickly doing as the exhausted red ranger said. The others were more than a little surprised to see Josh, Lilian and Wolf but no Jacob.

"Wolf? Where's Jacob?" Alice asked in confusion before seeing the state Josh was in, the green ranger pretty well collapsed the instant the teleport ended. She rushed over helping him to his feet "Joker, you okay?"

"F-Fine. A little overwhelmed is all" he lies as the two sit down "Don't worry about me my lady" Alice rolls her eyes at the joke.

Wolf walks over to his team, at first completely silent. Ngadria looks between everyone before speaking up.
"Wolf? What happened?"

The red ranger doesn't know how to respond...he doesn't have to though. Carter looks up, arms folded and leaned against the wall.
"If my theory is right. Jacob happened"

Alice's attention shifted to the blue ranger instantly.
"What? What do you mean 'Jacob happened'?"

Wolf put his hands in his pockets and sat down, sighing loudly.
"We got surrounded by Phira, Serpenta and a whole bunch of Oretrons...Serpenta basically ordered an attack and we thought it would be from Phira or the Oretrons but..." he looks at Josh "Jacob turned around and attacked Josh from behind..."
