The first thing Lilian heard was crumbling, it was coming from all around her and she couldn't fully process it. Her head hurt, that much was certain and her body ached a little, but she felt as though...perhaps she should be more hurt? Like less damage had been done than what she actually expected.
The next thing she heard was Zar's panicked tone, it was a good distance away, the sound was muffled and almost drowned out by the sudden ringing in the young sorceress's ears.
"Z-Zar...?" she questioned, slowly pushing herself to her feet.
He didn't seem to hear her. At least she assumed so - since there was no response. Lilian frowned, blinking a few times as she rubbed the dust and debris from her eyes. When she could finally see clearly she took stock of the temple's state.
The roof had all but crumbled, the crystal decor fractured and left scattered around the ground like shattered glass. The hummingbird symbol that once adorned the back wall was shattered into several pieces...
The only thing that seemed to have come out of the fight unscathed was the wall of ranger symbols further back...to her horror, the temple had been utterly defiled.
That - however - could not remain her biggest concern. The temple would repair with time, there was something else she was concerned about.
Zar's voice, the words he was so desperately repeating...they were about Nira...
"My lady?! My Lady! Wake up!"
Lilian rushed over, kneeling by her fallen mentor and Zar.
"Is she okay!? What happened?"
Zar turned to the young girl, tears in the faun's eyes.
"I...she must've used her magic to protect us and defeat her sister...I see no sign of Serpenta beyond her staff"
He points where it lay broken on the ground, green sand lay scattered around it...Lilian frowned, before turning back to Zar.
"And...goodness...tell me she's at least..."
"She's alive...she's still breathing, but...I with her injuries, I fear that won't last"
Lilian's eyes began to water, she gritted her teeth.
"I could.... perhaps I can heal her?" She questions.
Zar looks between her and Nira.
"Yes, please. Try your best, I need to try and reach the Rangers...they may be in great danger"
"Why? What happened?"
Zar sighs as he stands, pointing to the crystal situated a small distance away. It was almost completely shattered and around it swirled green magic...
"Serpenta destroyed the seer crystal and it doesn't look as though it can recover from this..."
Lilian's expression sank even more if that were possible. But it shifted quickly into determination.
"Go attempt to contact them, I'll keep Lady Nira alive I swear!!"

The sound of crumbling rock against metal was what began to stir the green ranger.
As he opened his eyes, he was first met with the huge, yet lifeless eye of his Emerald tiger Zord. Groaning Josh found the strength to look around and find what he was laying against...
"It's... tail?"
Or at least, one large segment of its striped pattern. Josh himself didn't even cross into the next stripe. He racked his brain for what had happened, hoping he hadn't given himself another concussion...
