My next opponent was Iida. Before the fight, I got mixed feelings about batting a friend, and even considered forfeiting. But when I met Iida before our battle, he wished me the best of luck, so I knew right there I couldn't back down.
Unlike Shiozaki, Iida had metal engines on his calves, so that made things easier for me. All I had to do was stop him before he reached me. Though when Midnight initiated the fight, in the blink of an eye, Iida sprinted towards me. I barely managed to
raise my left arm in time and aimed it on Iida's engines, and stopped him on his feet when he was just inches away from me.
"Woah! What speed!" Present Mic announced.
Iida was so close to me that the force I had against him was even greater than Shiozaki's. I pushed him down on the ground, making him kneel down involuntarily. I kept on forcing him downwards as Iida tried his best to fight off against my magnetic field, but to no avail.
"Will Iida be able to get out of this one?!"
Iida's confused and frightened eyes made me snap out of my own control, and I quickly released him by lowering my left hand. Iida then jumped backwards, panting as he recovered from his lost strength.
"Hey, Midnight," I called out, "I forfeit."
Everyone in the crowd started booing when I walked out of the match as Present Mic declared Iida the winner.
