A few days had passed after Bakugou's kidnapping. During the weekend, I went to visit (b/n) again with my mom, and thankfully, the doctors said he's starting to recover. There was still hope for him after all. But then (c/n) called me into a separate room from him and my mom. She made me sit in front of her as she took out a few papers from her suitcase.

(c/n) warned me about the dangers of smoking, and said if I didn't stop now, then I'd surely regret it in the future. I stopped the doctor before she finished listing all of the possible diseases I could have, and told her I had already decided to stop smoking for good. But (c/n) looked at me, up and down with a weird face, doubtful.

"What made you decide that so suddenly?" (c/n) asked.

But before I was able to answer, someone came into the room without knocking and popped their head inside. My eyes widened as my heart raced at the sight of Bakugou behind the door, thrilled.

"I found you," he grinned, "I was looking everywhere for you."

As Bakugou slowly came inside, the doctor stood up.

"I'm leaving now," (c/n) said as she left in a hurry, "Soooo... Bye!"

I quickly stood up from my seat and walked toward Bakugou, keeping just a few inches of space between us.

"Your mom told me I'd find you here," he explained, "I heard your brother's still in the hospital..."

"Y-Yeah," I lowered my head, dejected.

"But I'm sure he'll heal up real soon," Bakugou assured, "I mean, he's your brother, so I know he won't go down without a f-"

But before I let Bakugou finish, I wrapped my arms around his waist, causing him to fluster.

"H-Hey!" he panicked, "W-What are you-?!"

I buried my face on Bakugou's clothes, trying to hold my tears from coming out.

"Don't scare me like that, you idiot!" I declared, looking at him with tearful eyes, "I thought I'd never see you again, firecrackers!"

Bakugou blinked twice before reacting. He then smirked kindly at me, scoffing as he wrapped his arms around me, as well.

"Hey, that's my line!"

The two of us embraced, pulling each other closer than never before. I felt so safe and loved in Bakugou's arms, feeling his warmth against my body. I wanted to be in his embrace forever, but when I felt Bakugou letting me go, I quickly looked at him to see what was wrong.

"(l/n)," he told me, "I need to talk to you about something."
