silver gin!

"Alright, everyone!" Midnight posed, "It's time to find your new hero names!"

We took the first few minutes of class to decide on our new names, and I tried my hardest to stay awake. I sat on the back of the classroom, hiding behind Uraraka in hopes of Midnight not catching me taking some z's. That night, I couldn't sleep one bit, so I lowered my head and covered my face with my arms, and after a few minutes, I had fallen asleep. Though I suddenly woke up when I heard someone calling out my name, and sure enough, it was the teacher.

"(l/n)?" They shouted, "(l/n)! Wake up!"

I slowly raised my head from the desk, trying to focus my eyes on Midnight.

"Since you've taken the time to sleep during my class," she scolded, "I assume you have your name ready?"

I nodded, looking down at my already written cardboard. I stood up and walked toward the front of the class to the stand, looking at everyone as they all waited for me to show them mine. I flipped the cardboard to show my friends my name, and the symbols: シルバー銀 were displayed.

"My new name is Silver Gin; the chick/dick magnet!"

Everyone gasped and cheered me on after Midnight gave me her approval. But before I was able to hop down the stand, the teacher stopped me.

"I knew that last name sounded familiar," she smirked, "So your brother's the golden boy..."

"Yup," I nodded, "That's him. My dream is to fight by his side as equals! That's why I wanna become a hero."

Midnight rested her hand on her hips, grinning.

"You have big expectations, youngling. I hope you make Gooden Kin proud!"

I smiled back, hopping down the stand.

"But silver isn't a magnetic metal..." Midoriya mumbled.

"And their hero name is just the same word twice," flameo added.

I strutted proudly towards my seat, thinking of my older brother the entire day.
