During the UA Sports Festival, I managed to get into the finals. My next opponent was a girl named Ibara Shiozaki, and when our fight began, I made sure to give it my all. The girl didn't move her body at all, and instead controlled the vines from her hair to attack me. I made sure to keep my distance from her, and luckily, she didn't reach me.
"Shiozaki's quirk: Vines, gives her the ability to control the vines on her hair at will!" Present Mic shouted from the booth.
I took out my iron chains, swinging them around as I tried to throw them directly at Shiozaki. But she'd either blocked them with her vines or I wasn't able to reach her. She was too far away from my range, so I knew what I had to do next.
"Did you see that, folks?! (l/n) has to try harder if they want to get past Shiozaki's hair!"
I took a deep breath and enhanced the range of my magnetic field, and my chains were able to reach Shiozaki as they moved in midair. I made sure to wrap them around her like a snake, tightening her body as the vines that grew out of the ground left the stage.
"Look at that! How are those chains moving on their own?!"
With each step I took, my chains tightened their grip against Shiozaki's body as I got closer.
"Their quirk; Magnetic Field, lets dear (l/n) control any magnetic metals within their range! That includes iron, steel, nickel, and many others!"
"Please give up," I insisted, "I don't wanna hurt you more than I have to."
And just as I stood there, Shiozaki willingly gave up.
"A-Alright! I surrender!"
The crowd cheered for me as Shiozaki and I left the stage, wondering if my brother had seen me fight that day.
