~ Bakugou POV ~

"Mooooom!" I yelled as I almost knocked down the front door, "Where the hell are you?!"

I walked inside my house, stomping toward the living room where my lazy mom watched the news.

"Why didn't you tell me you saw that idiot from my class the other day?!"

"Katsuki!" she yelled back, "Shut up! I'm trying to watch tv here!"

I grunted, irritated.

"Just answer the damn question, you old hag!"

My mom turned off the tv, and the two of us began arguing like always.

"Who are you calling an old hag, you little runt!"

"H-Honey," my nervous dad interrupted, "T-The food's ready..."

My mom and I crossed our arms and looked the other way, walking toward the dinner table. The three of us started eating without saying anything, so I took advantage of the calm atmosphere.

"Anyways... You still haven't answered me, mom."

She sighed and kept on eating my dad's food without looking at me.

"They helped me out with some troublesome kid and said they were your friend, so I gave them one of your ramen."

My eyes widened when my mom said that, placing down my chopsticks as I looked at her in the eye.

"Wait- Did they really say that?"

"Mhm," my mother nodded, stuffed with food, "Though they looked and acted really strange for a kid their age; all poker faced and calm. They were really weird. But that kid seemed very kind and approachable."

I looked down at my untouched food, staring at it.

"What's their name?"

"(y/n)..." I said, mumbling.

"(y/n)," my mom repeated, "That's a lovely name. It has a nice ring to it."
