After the weekend, I went back to school and was greeted by everyone during roll call. They all congratulated me on my fight against Vlad King, and I have to admit; I avoided Aizawa for the longest time. I couldn't face him again after he came to my house. Did he know I smoked? Did he tell the principal? If they find out I did cigs, I'm dead. But since the principal never called me into his office, I hoped Sensei had just kept that to himself.

I stayed in the classroom to eat during our lunch break, taking out the spicy noodles the kind woman had given me on the weekend. There were a few other people around who brought their own lunch, and when I came back from preparing it in the cafeteria, Bakugou noticed me entering the room.

"Wait-" he stopped me, "Who gave you that?!"

I froze, looking down at my noodles.

"What do you mean?"

Bakugou stood up from his seat, slamming his hands against his desk and almost flipping his chair over.

"Nobody else buys those in the stores. They're too spicy," he declared, "The only one who does is-!"

He cut himself off as his eyes widened, shocked.

"Did my mom give you that?!" he demanded an explanation.

"Wait- That was your mom?" I questioned, "I swore that was Kaminari's."

"Are you an idiot? The woman has my hair for crying out loud!"

"Anyways," I said, ignoring his comment, "I helped her out and she gave me the noodles. Your mom's really nice. You're lucky to have her."

"Nice?" Bakugou laughed, "My mom is not nice! All that old hag does is yell and nag! It's so annoying!"

I rolled my eyes, smirking.

"Doesn't she remind you of someone, firecrackers?"

Bakugou flinched, irritated.

"What did you just say?!"

I chuckled, trying to hold my laughter in and walked toward the desk in front of Bakugou's.

"What are you doing?" he grunted, "Go sit on your own desk."

"Well I already sat down. I might as well stay here."

Bakugou sat down, too. He looked away, scoffing.

"Whatever. Do what you want."

I looked at Bakugou's desk and saw he was eating the same thing I was. I kept staring at it as if I had seen treasure.

"You like spicy ramen, too?"

Bakugou flinched again, crossing his arms.

"S-So what?!" he argued, "Who doesn't like spicy food?! People who can't stand it are just a bunch of weaklings!"

I nodded, agreeing with him.

The two of us ate without saying anything else. I've never really had a real conversation with Bakugou before, so I didn't really know what to talk about. But eventually, he spoke up on his own.

"Hey," he called, "Your fight against Vlad King..."

"What about it?" I said as I turned around to face him.

It seemed as though Bakugou had trouble to find the right words to say, and he ended up saying a bunch of them all at once.

"Y-You didn't stink out there, all right?!" he admitted, "A-Actually, you kicked ass against that pro hero! It was pretty cool... There I said it!"

I tilted my head, confused.

"Are you... congratulating me?"

Bakugou grunted, slurping the noodles in one go.

"What else could I mean, you idiot?!" he mumbled; his cheeks filled with food.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, grinning.

"Thanks," I told him, "Bakugou."
