my snacks

The next day, I got to school a few minutes late, but I made sure to eat breakfast. I entered the classroom and brought a bag of cashews and raisins, which Recovery Girl advised me to eat so I can keep my strength in check. Though when Sensei saw me eating them during class, he snapped.

"(l/n)," Aizawa questioned, "Why are you eating in my class?"

I stood up and walked toward him, leaving the bag on top of my desk.

"I have a medical excuse from Recovery Girl saying I can eat during courses."

I handed the paper to Sensei, and sure enough, he glared at me as if he wanted to end me.

"Here, Sensei," I handed, "I knew you'd get upset, so I brought you some more applesauce to enjoy."

Aizawa grunted quietly, taking the pouches for himself as he drank one whole.

"Just go and sit down, (l/n)."

I walked toward my seat, quietly eating my cashews and raisins in peace. Though as Aizawa's class was beginning to bore me yet again, I looked over at my left and saw Satou, the guy I refused to fight in the Battle Trial, and offered him some of my snacks.

"Hey! Psst!" I called, "Want some?"

Satou looked at me, surprised, and then back at Sensei to make sure he was busy. He stuffed his hand inside the bag and took a handful of raisins and cashews.

"I'm sorry about not wanting to fight you," I apologized, "I just didn't have the strength to do it."

"It's ok," he smiled.

I kept on eating some more, and saw that the guy in front of Satou was bored like I was.

"What's his name?" I asked Satou.

"That's Kouda."

"Ask him if he wants some."

Satou tapped Kouda's shoulder and pointed at me as I handed my bag for him to take. At first, Kouda refused, but I knew he couldn't say no to snacks. He dug his hand inside the snack bag and took some for himself and smiled at me.

"You're welcome," I whispered.

"You know I can hear you from back there," Aizawa spoke up.

The three of us quickly sat straight, pretending we weren't the ones Sensei was talking about.
