I walked inside the desert simulation, seeing the pro hero already waiting for me at the center of a sand dune. I looked around, sweating; of course they had to choose a place with no metals! I was instructed that to win, I had to put on some cuffs on Vlad King or run toward the exit. But I already knew what I was going to do from the start.

"I saw you in the Sport's Festival," the teacher spoke, "I know what you can do. But I'm not gonna go easy on you just because you're a student!"

"There's no need to," I assured, "but I appreciate the thought, though."

Vlad King chuckled, crossing his arms.

"All of my equipment is made out of silver and aluminium," he informed me, "You can't touch me."

"Let's see about that."

We positioned ourselves for battle, and when Present Mic started the fight, the first thing I did was sprint towards the teacher. I held my sickle and chain with both hands, threw them at Vlad King when I was close enough, and controlled them with my quirk. I extended both hands as I guided the sickle in midair, and quickly with my right hand, I attacked the pro hero with the blade. But the sickle would bounce off the silver vambraces, so I retracted the weapon with my left.

"I see," he declared, "So you use your left hand to pull things closer, and your right hand to push things..."

My eyes widened, shocked. How was he able to know that from a single attack?

I tried to get closer to the teacher to increase the force of my magnetic field against him, but he seemed to notice this with every attempt of attacking him with the sickle.

"This is pointless. As long as I'm out of your range, you can't touch me!"

I grunted, glaring at him.

My anger got the best of me, and I ended up charging at Vlad King. I threw my sickle with my right hand and guided it around him, and managed to wrap him with the chains. I made sure to tighten them up as the sound of the metals tightened. With every step I took, the stronger the binding got. But before I was able to finish him off, the pro hero broke my chains after flexing his big muscles.

"The closer I am to the center of your magnetic field, the stronger the force you'll have over me," he concluded, "Is that right?"

I couldn't believe it. The teacher was able to break free by simply using his raw strength. I was naive to think my binding would work, but with a large man like that, I should've expected Vlad King to pull something like that.

"Now it's my turn!"
