After training with Bakugou through the weeks on end, I gained a lot more strength and endurance than I previously had. I knew it was time to fight Todoroki since I promised him a one on one in an earlier chapter. So after school, I looked for him, and I noticed him talking to Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami in a corner near the lockers. I walked over to them and stood right in front of Todoroki, staring at him with determination.

"Hey, flameo!"

"Flameo?" Yaoyorozu repeated, "Who's that?"

"I think she's referring to Todoroki," Tokoyami whispered.

Flameo turned to me, serious.

"My body's ready for you!" I said as I pointed at him.

Both Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami flinched, weirded out.

"I've been training a lot these past couple of weeks," I proclaimed, "and I believe I owe you a fight!"

"O-Oh," Yaoyorozu let out a sigh of relief, "You scared me for a second there, (l/n)..."

I stood there, waiting for an answer. Todoroki then smirked, closing his eyes.

"You're on."

The two of us walked together around the hallways as people stared at us, mumbling to themselves. Perhaps because they saw Todoroki with a girl.

"It's been a while since we last spoke," Todoroki mentioned, "Hasn't it, (l/n)?"

"Yeah, it has," I said as I relaxed my hands behind my neck, "I'm sorry about that, really. I've been training a lot, so I haven't really had the time to relax."

Todoroki lowered his gaze, smirking.

"And here I thought you had forgotten about me, (l/n)."

I turned to him with widened eyes, shaking my head.

"How could I? You're one of the first friends I made here in UA. I could never forget about you, flameo."

Todoroki looked at me as if he were surprised to hear that, and quickly looked down. I could even see his cheeks turning bright red, but I wouldn't know for sure since he looked away too quickly.

"And please," I told him, "call me (y/n). You don't need to be so formal, flameo."

"Flameo?" he repeated, "I don't recall ever being called that before."

"It's the nickname I gave you," I explained, "It fits well, right? Or is it too lame?"

"Not at all," Todoroki chuckled, "I don't mind in the least. (y/n)..."

At the sound of him pronouncing my name, my heart skipped a beat or two. Todoroki smiled kindly at me, and I could only smile back at him, too.

"A-Anyways," I stuttered involuntarily, "Let's go outside and finish this once and for all!"
