apologizing

~ Bakugou's POV ~

After they left the table all of a sudden, the three of us stopped and saw them walk away. Kirishima went after them as I kept on arguing with tape dispenser.

"Look what you did, Bakugou! You really are heartless! Now (y/n) is hurt!"

"Me?! I didn't do anything!"

I crossed my arms and looked down at the table, ignoring tape dispenser as I ate my food. I acted as if nothing had changed, but my words kept flooding my head: you can have her for all I care! I could care less about her! I grunted, cussing at myself under my breath. Why did I say that to them? They probably hated me now after I told them that, and they definitely left because of what I said. I kept blaming myself and made sure to apologize after she'd come back. But when I turned around, thinking it was them, it was actually Kirishima coming back from seeing them.

"Look, man!" he shouted at me, "I take it you don't like us, but don't take your anger out on (y/n) just because you can't control your temper!"

"Yeah, Bakugou," Sero added, "You can be a real jerk sometimes. Why did you even say that? (y/n) is our friend!"

"Both of you, shut up!" I ordered, "I already know I messed up! You two don't have to tell me that!"

I rested my chin on the palm of my hand, looking down as I thought of them.

"When they come back, I'll-"

That was when they arrived, and the three of us followed their movements as they sat down in front of me again. At first, nobody said anything, so I took the opportunity to apologize.

"Look," I told them, "I know I was a real jerk to you back then. So I just wanted to say I'm-"

"Don't worry," they shook their head, "I knew you didn't mean it. Let's all just go back eating and forget anything happened."

"Yeah," tape dispenser added, "But next time, we won't forgive you, Bakugou!"

"Yeah, yeah," I said, secretly eyeing them as they ate her food, "I'm sorry. There, I said it!"
