In a matter of seconds, Vlad King hit my sickle with one of his silver vambraces, knocking it away from our fight into the depths of the sand. The pro hero then sprinted toward me, used his blood quirk to grab my entire arm and threw me into the sky. I fell hard against the sand, creating a small crater as I laid there, defenseless as I trembled from the pain of the fall.

"I'm sorry," he declared, "but you have failed."

I could hear the teacher's footsteps getting closer toward me as he kicked the sand. I knew that if I didn't do something, and didn't force myself to stand up and keep fighting, then I was bound to fail. I thought: if I had just forfeited from the start, then I could've saved my energy on this fight. Because I hated losing like this more than anything; powerless in the eyes of those around me.

I couldn't take it anymore. My body suddenly started moving on its own, lifting myself from the sand as my feet wobbled and my arms became heavy. I was at a shortness of breath, could feel my lungs tightening, wanting to cough, my body weakening from the hot Sun and my iron deficiency, and the sudden crash against the burning sand from Vlad King's throw. But my body persisted; I hadn't given up yet.

"This is pointless," he told me, "You're in no condition to keep fighting."

I kept on panting, staring into his eyes. I had been given a second chance at this fight; and I wasn't going down until he killed me. I slowly rummaged through one of my pants pocket's, holding a single round bullet on the tips of my fingers.

"Whatever you're thinking in that head of yours, it's not going to work," he stated, "You won't win."

I promised I'd never use these against someone, but I needed to if I wanted to have a chance against someone like a pro hero. I closed my eyes, all sweaty, using my quirk to decrease the range of my magnetic field. I needed a smaller range to have a stronger magnetic force, and when I did so, the steel bullet was out of control. It was hard to control it with my magnetic field being one foot, but I managed to hold onto it.

I placed the steel bullet on the palm of my left hand, pulling it downwards with my quirk. I then positioned my right hand over that palm and pointed it at the teacher. After a few seconds of aiming, I flicked the bullet with my fingers, missing completely. The bullet ended up hitting the sand a few feet away from the pro hero.

"See what I mean? If you're not going to forfeit, I'm going to finish this fight myself."

Vlad King slowly walked toward me, swinging his arms back and forth as he looked at me, tired of me trying so hard. That was exactly what I wanted. I missed the first time on purpose in hopes of lowering his guard around me. And sure enough, it worked. I looked for another bullet, placed it on my left hand and I smirked, shutting my eyes before flicking the bullet again.

BANG!

The impact of the bullet caused me to fall back; my back crashing against the sand. The loud sound of the bullet almost made my ears bleed, and I could still hear the ringing noise bouncing off my ear canals. The bullet had pierced through Vlad King's stomach, causing him to bleed out and forcing him to fall to his knees.

"Y-You! How did you-?!"

I quickly stood up and ran toward him at my top speed. I held the cuffs as I watched as the pro hero placed his hand over his open wound, trying not to faint. He couldn't move; and even if he did, he'd be in even more pain. I jumped over the teacher, trying to reach for his bent legs as I planned to use my right hand to push the cuffs at his legs. But Vlad King quickly used his quirk to grab my right arm with his blood, causing me to kneel down with him and the cuffs to fall down below the teacher. Despite being injured, he was still able to fight.

Though suddenly, the pro hero's eyes widened at the sound of the cuffs clicking as he looked down, seeing them on his ankle.

"How were you able to do this?!" he questioned.

"I knew you'd grab my right arm at the last second, so I let the cuffs drop on the floor intentionally," I began explaining, "So I used my left arm to pull the cuffs to your leg."

Vlad King looked down, coughing from his wound, smirking.

"Good job, (l/n)," he congratulated me, "You truly deserve to be amongst the UA students."

I smiled, listening to Present Mic's voice but not really paying attention to what he was saying. I felt my eyelids drooping as my breath shortened; my body dropping on the sand as I had won my fight against a pro hero.
