When I went back to school, everyone kept on mentioning my fight against the gang of villains and how I took them out. I didn't really handle the compliments all that well, so I tried my best to change the subject whenever possible.
The next day, as (b/n) and I patrolled the city from above, jumping from building to building, I saw what I thought was Bakugou's silhouette on one of the streets. I decided to see what he was up to and who his pro hero was, so I told (b/n) I was going to see a friend and left their side for a while. I jumped from the building all the way down, and landed perfectly in a hero pose. I admit I wanted to make a grand entrance for myself, and after I stood up straight, I walked toward them with a confident look on my face.
"Hey," I greeted, "I saw you walking from the building, and thought I'd drop by-"
When I noticed Bakugou's hair, it completely caught me off guard.
"What's with the hair?" I asked, "Why do you have it so... slick."
Bakugou tried to contain his anger, grinding his teeth together as he looked down. He seemed rather embarrassed, but I wouldn't know.
"W-What the hell are you doing here, you dumbass?!"
Bakugou's hero supervisor walked up toward me, sassily throwing his combed hair back as sparkles shone around him.
"Another fan," he grinned behind his jeans, "Trying to see a hero in action, I see-"
"Who are you?" I inquired, interrupting him, unknowing of his place as a hero.
My question seemed to have struck his heart like an arrow, because when he heard me say that, the supposed hero slouched, depressed.
"What's with him?" I looked at Bakugou again.
"That guy?" he grunted, "I'm stuck with that guy until we get back to UA! I can't believe I ended up with Best Jeanist!"
I rolled my eyes as Bakugou's hair returned to its normal shape, exploding. He kept on arguing with himself, so I decided to get out of there before he turned his anger toward me.
"Well, have fun I guess, firecrackers."
I looked up and saw that one of the buildings had a flag pole, so I used my left hand to pull myself toward it. I hung over the pole with both hands, looking up.
"Be careful out there," the Jeanist shouted, "You might get yourself injur-"
I rolled my eyes again, sighing as I swung myself back and forth, letting go when I reached the top of the building.
"Who was that?" my brother asked, kneeling down on the edge of the building as we both watched Bakugou and Best Jeanist leave.
"Just a classmate," I answered.
"Why did he have his hair like that?"
"Who knows," I shrugged, "But it doesn't look bad. I kinda liked it."
