"You didn't show up to the Gryffindor quidditch try outs." Draco told the girl in concern as the group sat down in the Great Hall for dinner, "where were you?"

"I decided to take a nap instead." Adeline lied naturally, the girl was in fact crying in the toilet while her body tried to vomit up anything it physically could, "I wasn't feeling too great so I decided to just try and sleep it off."

"How are you feeling now, hun?" Daphne asked in concern from her place next to Blaise, "how about you try eating something? See if that helps."

"I'm not hungry." Adeline spoke firmly, staring straight past the girl, over to the Gryffindor table, noticing a certain dark haired boy staring straight at her.

"What are you looking at?" Draco furrowed his brows, noticing the girls far away gaze, following her eyes, "Why are you and Potter staring at each other?"

"He has a book." Adeline confessed to the group, "a potions one, 'property of the Half-Blood Prince' it's got loads of notes in it, telling him how to make each potion perfectly."

"Did you take it off him?" Blaise asked eagerly, "have you got it on you now? Let me see Addie I could really use it."

"No." Adeline sighed and shook her head, pushing around a forkful of spaghetti on her plate, "I didn't."

"Why?" Blaise scoffed, a look of disappointment on his face, "I could have used that, I'm doing shit in potions at the moment, some days I feel like Slughorn's going to kick me out you know? My Draught of Living Death was blue! Blue!"

"I think I'm going to go back to my dorm guys." Adeline sighed, pushing away her plate and placing her head on the table, "I really don't feel great."

"I'll come with you." Draco announced at once, standing up and grabbing Adeline's hand, forcing her to walk with him, "we need to have a chat."

The pair walked in silence though the eerie corridors, a cold breeze nipping Adeline's fragile body causing her to shiver. The dungeons were not a welcoming place, Adeline sometimes wondered if the other houses were a lot warmer and homely than hers was.

"What's really going on with you and Potter?" Draco finally broke his silence as the pair approached the Slytherin common room, "Are you going to be honest or make up another bullshit excuse?"

"What?" Adeline asked, hurt in her voice as the pair entered the common room, Draco immediately going to take a seat while the female stayed standing.

"You heard me." He gave her a stone cold expression, "You two were staring at each other, I'm not stupid enough to believe the looks you were giving him were over a book, Adeline. Since when were you and Potter," he spat the males name out with disgust, "friendly? I thought you hated him?"

"We had a little chat today." The girl confessed, "we spoke about a lot, shouted, yelled, cried. I forgive him for what he did."

"I don't think it's a good idea." Draco rolled his eyes, "fraternising with the enemy is a terrible idea."

"Is it really though?" Adeline lied through her teeth, "what if I spied on him? The Dark Lord would love me."

Draco went silent, "That's not a bad idea. You could distract him while I work on ways to complete the task."

"I could be a double agent?" Adeline suggested, "I'm sure Potter and his friends aren't that difficult to fool."
