"Adeline!" The teen coughed loudly as her frame fell through the fire place and crashed roughly against the marble floor.

"Mrs Malfoy!" Adeline smiled, accepting the hand the woman held out to her and regaining her balance, standing up.

"Let's get you changed dear, the Dark Lords here and he wants to speak to you." Adeline gulped, nervously as she followed Narcissa Malfoy up the stairs of Malfoy manor, the whole building quiet and echoey. Adeline remembered that the building used to be bustling and beautiful as a child, now it was vacant and dull, property of Death Eaters. Adeline shuddered, the mahogany banister cold to the touch as she used it to climb the stairs.

"Did he say why?" Adeline asked in confusion, wondering what the Dark Lord could possibly want to speak to her for. Narcissa just shook her head wordlessly, guiding the teen to the spare room she had always held up in when she visited the manor. Laid out on the bed was a stunning floor length all black dress with a laced open back and a split going up to the top of her thigh. Adeline always felt like a princess whenever Narcissa gave her a new dress to wear.

"Where's my mother?" Adeline plucked up the courage to ask a question that had been sitting on her chest for a while, becoming disheartened as she noticed Narcissa's sudden frown at the mention of Valencia Charm.

"The Dark Lord isn't happy with Valencia at the moment," Narcissa refused to meet eye contact with the girl, "she's been refusing to do his tasks. I suppose that's why you're here, the Dark Lord may be wanting you to do them instead."

"So where's my mother?" Adeline asked sharply, Narcissa hadn't answered her question.

"I don't know." The woman shook her head, "just get changed please, Adeline." She pleaded with the teen, eyes filled with worry and unshed tears, "you need to hurry up."

The girl complied, taking off her hideous Hogwarts robes and slipping her body into the sleek dress, smiling as the fabric brushed softly against her figure. Narcissa breathed out a deep sigh of relief, looking at the girl in approval, the pair engaged in a deathly silence as they descended back down the stairs, coming to a stop before the grand doors of the dining room.

"Just do what he asks okay?" Narcissa echoed Snapes words, looking down at the girl, an equal display of worry on her face.

Adeline nodded stiffly, turning round to face the door, making sure to wipe any expression and putting the best poker face on she could muster. The teen pushed open the heavy wooden doors, entering the large, but barren room, coming face to face with the Dark Lord himself who was seated at the very end of the dining table, the only other soul in the room being the one and only Bellatrix Lestrange.

"Well, well, well!" The woman screeched, walking forward and enveloping the brunette into a tight hug, like the pair had been best friends for many years, "If it isn't Adeline Charm! You look so beautiful, girl!"

"That's enough, Bellatrix." He spoke softly, the woman instantly retreating from the much younger girl, walking towards the Dark Lord, her heels snapping across the floor, the simple noise sounding like a large earthquake in the silent room, "Miss Charm, do come take a seat."
