Adeline refused to tell Draco what she had done that fateful day, she couldn't bare to see the look of disgust in his face if she would reveal she was a murderer, she couldn't bare to see the rage and anger he would cause if she told him how her victim begged for mercy.

"Love, mother said you need to get dressed, we're going to Diagon Alley." Draco murmured fondly to the girl as he sat beside her on their bed, "i think we're getting school supplies."

"I don't want to." Adeline shook her head, sighing as she leaned on Draco's shoulder.

"You don't have a choice." He mumbled, lifting her head and pressing his lips against hers softly.

Adeline hummed against her boyfriends lips as he lifted her body, placing her in his lap, arms roaming dangerously low on her body. Draco's hands scooped under Adeline's bum, nipping the skin making the girl let out a mewl of approval as she tugged his hair desperately.

"Draco." She whined, lips puffy as he separated himself from her, "I need-'

"Get dressed." His soft voice spoke sternly, "mother is waiting."

"You can't just kiss me then expect me to just-"

Adeline was cut off with a squeak as Draco pulled her body flush against his, leaning down to whisper into her ear.

"Get dressed or I will dress you myself."

Adeline turned bright pink and hastily scrambled off her boyfriend, running into the bathroom, Draco chuckling loudly behind her.

Adeline's hand was tightly clutched in Draco's as the pair observed Diagon Alley. A miserable aura hung in the air. Streets that were once bustling with life and colour were now dull and empty. Adeline gulped as she spotted a large 'WANTED' poster with Bellatrix's sneering face on it.All around her lay empty shops, many looking raided, the teen had no doubts on who was behind those raids.

"Let's go to Madam Malkin's first dears." Narcissa told them, nervously looking around as groups of passers by gave them stares. Draco didn't bother looking at them while Adeline sent them heavy glares.

Narcissa and the children entered the clothing shop and greeted Malkin professionally. Adeline quickly roamed her eyes around the store, eyes gravitating towards the dresses, glittery and beautiful in their own rights.

"Adeline, dear." Narcissa called, "come get yourself measured for robes."

Adeline sighed, tearing her gaze from the dresses, instead walking over to a sulking Draco who was unwillingly getting his robes measured.

"I think Adeline and I can go buy our books on our own after this, mother." The boy informed, raising a brow at Adeline, asking for support. The girl stayed quiet, not wanting to get involved.

"Draco, I don't think that's a good idea." Narcissa shook her head, "these are dangerous times. It's not safe for a pair of teenagers to be roaming the streets alone."

"We're not children," Draco snapped, admiring his handsomely green robes, "in case you haven't noticed mother. We are perfectly capable of doing our shopping on our own."

Adeline's head whipped around as the bell on the door chimed, someone else had entered the shop, Adeline could tell from a mile off who the group were just from the brown bushy hair, the wild red hair and the untamed ebony hair. Surprisingly, she decided to keep quiet, Adeline couldn't deal with Potter and his cronies with the amount of thoughts racing through her head.

"Now, dear." Adeline's eyed widened in disgust as Madam Malkin decided to give her input, "your mother is quite right, no one should be wandering around unaccompanied anymore, it's got nothing to do with being a child."
