BY ORDER OF THE MINISTRY OF MAGIC

Dolores Jane Umbridge has replaced Albus Dumbledore as Head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, in accordance with Educational Decree Number Twenty-eight.

signed: Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic.

A buzz filled the school as whispers filled the corridors, everyone wanting to know why and how Dumbledore had been fired. Word spread about Potters secret organisation and everywhere he went Adeline could tell students were giving him dirty looks, assuming he was involved with Dumbledore's departure.

The Charm however, was never doing better. Capturing Potter must have really benefitted her as she could now get away with pretty much anything. Naturally that meant she took away house points from anyone who even looked at her in the wrong way.

"Oh I expect she really fancies sitting up in Dumbledore's office." Adeline and Draco looked at each other as they heard Grangers voice ranting in the entrance hall, "sitting all high and mighty over the other teachers, that stupid, power-hungry, deranged, old-"

"Now, do you really want to finish that sentence Granger?" Draco asked threateningly as Adeline leaned against the wall, arms crossed. Granger, standing with Potter and Weasley like usual, looked towards them, anger immediately on her face.

"I think we're going to have to dock a few points from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff for that bad mouth." Adeline smirked as Grangers face glowed red with rage.

"You can't take points from prefects." Granger snapped, "besides, there's no Hufflepuffs here anyways, why would you take points from them?"

"I just don't like Hufflepuffs." Adeline shrugged, causing Draco to laugh.

"We know prefects can't dock points from each other," the blonde leered, "but members of the Inquisitorial Squad can."

"The what?" Weasley furrowed his brows, a dumb expression glued on his face.

"Honestly, have you people been living under a rock?" Malfoy rolled his eyes, "it's a select group of students hand picked by our headmistress herself, who support the Ministry's viewpoint. We have the power to dock points, so Granger, 10 for foulness aimed at our headmistress, Potter, I'll take 20 from you for being a right git, Weasley, your shirts going a bit yellow, so I'll have 10 from you for being poor."

"Granger, we'll have another 10 from you because you're a mudblood. And, I'll take 15 from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff because I don't like them." Adeline smiled as Weasley pulled out his wand, "I suggest you put that away now Weasley or I'll be forced to take away even more points and take you straight to Headmistress Umbridge."

The Slytherin couple watched as Granger pulled the red heads wrist down, whispering aggressively into his ear.

"Looks like you made the right choice." Adeline tutted, "shame, I would have loved to dock an extra 20 points from Gryffindor."

Adeline pouted sarcastically, before Draco slid his hand into hers, the pair walking away, laughing as they heard Weasley start to complain immediately.

Later that day, Adeline and Draco were informed they would individually have a brief meeting with their head of house, Professor Snape. Adeline's meeting at 7:30, Draco's at 7:45.

"Miss Charm." Snape drawled as she entered his office, immediately becoming enthralled with the mason jars filled with weird and wonderful floating objects, "stop ogling and take a seat."

Immediately, Adeline sat in the seat before her potions Professor/ head of house.

"Let's get this over with Miss Charm," Snape sighed in annoyance, "this meeting is to discuss career ideas and to help you decide which subjects you will need for your sixth and seventh year. So far, no one knows what they want to do, so I'm hoping you'll make my job a bit easier. Do you know what you want to do after you leave here, Miss Charm?"

"Well, I like potions, and I'm good at it, so I was thinking of becoming an alchemist. Or maybe if that doesn't work out a high ranking Ministry position, or perhaps even an Auror."

"You'd make a good auror, Miss Charm," Snape smirked, "you'd need top grades, five N.E.W.T.s above 'Exceeds Expectations' although I believe you are more than capable. I expect you'll want to continue with potions in sixth year? And you'll want to be taking alchemy too? Transfiguration? Defence Against the Dark Arts? Charms? Maybe arithmancy too." Adeline nodded to every suggestion and Snape raised a brow at her, "very well then Miss Charm, you are a high achiever indeed."

"Thank you Professor." Adeline smiled brightly, accepting the compliment, "I won't disappoint."

"I have no doubts you won't." Snape replied back as Adeline left the room, an unknown twinkle in his eyes. At the time Adeline didn't understand the double meaning behind his words but soon she would and when she did she wouldn't have the choice to disappoint.
