"Banned?" Adeline sniggered as Theo filled her in on the news racing around the school, "Potter is banned from quidditch?""For life." Pansy confirmed as she bit into a bread roll, "female Weasley is doing a month of detentions with Umbridge and we all know what happens in them."
"And the twins too." Blaise chimed in, "Umbridge decided they would have attacked if not for being held back."
"They look furious." Adeline hummed, enjoying the look of anger that was present on the many students Gryffindor table.
"They are furious." Draco confirmed glaring at the red and gold wearing lions as they glared back heavily, "they deserve it." He spat, "they attacked us like the savage animals they are."
A letter suddenly fluttered down onto the Slytherin table in front of Adeline, the pink envelope immediately giving away who it was from. The Charm ripped the paper open, skimming through the words before looking round at her friends and smiling proudly.
"We know where Potters secret group is," she announced, causing the group to laugh between themselves, "We're all required to meet at Umbridge's office at 10pm tonight, we're going to catch them."
"Where are they then?" Blaise challenged as Adeline rolled her eyes, choosing to instead throw the letter to the stubborn boy.
"Be prepared for tonight." Adeline advised them before standing up from the table and exiting the great hall, heading towards her first lesson of the day, Care of Magical creatures.

"Why is that great oaf back?" Draco snapped as Hagrid appeared before the fifth year students, "I thought that woman was teaching us this year?"
"I don't know." Hissed Adeline, "but he doesn't look as though he's been on holiday." The girl was right. With the amount of bruises and cuts littering the professors face, it was hard to tell who he was.
"We're working in the forest today!" The half giant hollered to the students, gesturing behind him at the dark forest, "it's sheltered, they prefer the dark."
"What prefers the dark?" Draco hissed to the friendship group, Blaise and Theo shrugging as if uninterested, "did you hear him?" Draco turned to Adeline, panic in his eyes, "what did he say prefers the dark?"
"Give it a rest you wussy." Adeline sniggered, shaking her head realising why Draco had not been a Gryffindor.
"I've been saving a trip into the forest for your fifth year." The teacher told them, leading the timid students into the dark forest, completely disregarding the whole 'forbidden' aspect of it, "I thought we'd go see these creatures in their natural habitats you know? I recon I'm the only person in Britain who's managed to tame these things, they're pretty rare."
"You're sure they're trained aren't you?" Malfoy hollered to the Professor, "it wouldn't be the first time you've brought wild animals to class, would it?"
"Shut up Malfoy." Potter spat as many of the students nodded in agreement as if they agreed with Draco.
"Shut up Malfoy." Adeline mimicked in a high pitched voice that sounded nothing like the ebony haired boy, "Why don't you try shutting up for once Potter?"
"Now, now." Hagrid told the class with unease, "do not worry, course they're trained."
Draco scoffed, biting his lip as he suddenly grasped Adeline's hand, gripping it tightly,
"Stay close to me alright?" He whispered in concern to her, "Merlin knows what this oaf has got for us."Adeline scoffed as the scenery became dreary, dead leaves strung on the floor as large trees shadowed over them, blocking most of the light. The thick smell of must and rotting wood filled the frost bitten air and the teen shivered, face nuzzling further into her knitted Slytherin scarf.
