Adeline didn't stick around at the Charm household for long, already feeling the dismal atmosphere affecting her. Grasping the floo powder in her grip tightly she cast her father a deep frown, biting her lip as he looked away, ashamed of himself.

Adeline figured they were sending her away on purpose, she knew it was for nothing good. However, as she looked her mother in the eyes all she could see was fear and the slight watering of her deep blue gaze.

"Malfoy Manor." Adeline stated clearly, squeezing her eyes shut, clutching her fists together tightly. The teen hated the floo network, every journey she made felt like her body was being pulled in a thousand different directions.

Stepping out of the Malfoy fireplace, the Charm daughter was immediately pulled into a pair of arms and as the familiar comforting peppermint and expensive cologne smell of her boyfriend entered her nose she immediately broke down, sobbing, hyperventilating, tears pouring from her eyes.

"That's not my dad." She sobbed, "he's not my dad."

Draco panicked, eyes widening as he attempted to comfort the sobbing girl,

"Shhh." Draco rocked her back and forth, stumbling to a nearby sofa, pulling the girl into his arms, "What do you mean love?"

"His face." Adeline shuddered, "his face was all messed up." She gulped, calming down, red-rimmed eyes looking up to meet Draco's concerned grey ones, "he looked like he was dying."

The girl suddenly shot up, tearing herself from Draco's grip, "is Emerald here?" Her eyes searched for her black cat desperately, "I can't remember the last time I saw her."

Draco smiled as the green eyed cat came prowling in at the call of her name, watching as Adeline's pale complexion lit up.

"My dad got me her, you know?" Adeline fondly glanced at the cat as she picked it up, cradling it to her chest, "I could have gotten anything, the most expensive owl they had, but no, I picked a small, dishevelled looking cat. She was so scruffy when I first got her." Adeline ran her fingers though the cats soft fur, "but now she looks like royalty, I moulded her into a pristine companion."

Draco listened to the girls ranting, understanding it was to keep her mind of a more pressing issue, "mother doesn't like cats, she nearly threw Emerald on the street when little eleven year old me came home with her."

"I remember when you first showed me her." Draco looked at the cat, who was nestled snugly in the other teens grip.

"She scratched you when you tried to take her off me." Adeline chucked softly, remembering eleven year old Draco's offended expression as a small cat clawed his hand.

"Your cat put me off all cats." Draco turned his nose up at the pet, "I prefer owls, Abarax never brings nearly as much trouble."

Adeline's eyes lit up at the mention of Draco's great tawny owl, much larger than a usual one.

"Abarax is stunning." Adeline fawned, "his face is so cute! And his eyes are so big!"

"Yes, and like I told you in second year, he's mine, so back off." Draco faked a glare at the girl, causing Adeline to laugh loudly, flinging her body back down onto the couch, Emerald quickly leaping from her and out of the room.

Draco gripped the girl's waist, pulling her on top of him, her head on his chest, their legs tangled together.

"This is nice." The blonde haired male mumbled into his girlfriends brunette locks, "your hair smells nice."

Adeline sniggered, her body vibrating against Draco's, shaking her head against his chin,
"That's a bit weird, love."

"How is it?" Draco whined, "I complimented you."

"I don't want to move." Adeline admitted, "you're very comfy."

"Then don't." Draco whispered.

Adeline's head tilted up to look at the boy, instantly being met with her lips being claimed. Shifting her body around the girl reciprocated the affection, reaching up to the boys blonde locks, tangling her nimble fingers into them, his hands sneakily wandering around her body, wrapping them around her waist, pulling her body flush against his.

"Draco." Adeline gasped as he bit her lip, allowing himself access into her mouth, him groaning as she tugged his hair slightly to hard.

"Adeline, baby." Draco muttered against her lips, "please move, you're killing me."

Hesitantly, the girl rotated her hips, grinding down on Draco's, biting her lip as he let out another low groan.
Using his hands, his fingers dug into the teens waist, moving her hips against his own, shifting his body upwards, resting on the arm of the couch so the pair were now sitting.

Letting out a whimper, Adeline tilted her head back as Draco kissed the skin softly before leaving little nips and bites.

Draco could feel his body begin to get excited, electrical impulses sending his body into a frenzy, his mind dancing, the clothing was the only barrier between the pair, if only he could just-

"I came to welcome our guest but it appears you've already done it, son."

In a split second, Draco's hands were off his girlfriend, sitting up in a panic, sending her tumbling onto the floor, her head crashing painfully on the dark hard wood flooring. Adeline let out a yelp on her decent as Draco blushed beet red, fixing his suit.

"Ow Draco, what the-"

"Adeline, how lovely for you to be here." Adeline's eyes widened as she scrambled onto her feet, meeting the amused gaze of Lucius Malfoy himself, "Marcus and I always knew you two would end up together, but I must say I was not prepared for that."

"Sorry Mr Malfoy." Adeline mumbled, her cheeks a deep scarlet, rubbing the back of her neck as she stared to the floor.

"Nonsense child." Lucius shook his head, "my name is Lucius is it not? That's what you call me, in case you forgot." His gaze suddenly turned sympathetic, "how is Marcus holding up dear? How are you holding up?"

"I've never seen him like this." Adeline shook her head, frowning, "the Dark Lord has really messed him up."

"Your father is one of the most devoted as they come, Adeline dear." Lucius told the teen firmly, "when the Dark Lord makes his return he has done you and your family a favour, you are in my Lords good book."

"And I need to keep it that way." Adeline robotically answered, almost as if she were trained to say the words.

"Good." Lucius nodded in approval, "you will make a fine death eater some day, Adeline Charm." Lucius almost smiled at the teen, a twinkle in his eyes, almost as if he knew something she didn't, "now you two have fun, but not too much fun."

And with that, Lucius swept away, his long black cloak floating airily behind him.

"That was so embarrassing." Adeline groaned, sitting back onto the couch, head in hands, Draco huffing as he sat next to her.

"He's not going to be coming back in." Draco told her, winking.

"Shove off." Adeline laughed, hitting his arm before resting her head on his broad shoulder, smiling.
