Chapter Fourty Four

"It seems that you'll be getting a daughter in law soon." Sakura teased as she stepped inside the office of the restaurant.

Tenten laughed, shaking her head.
"Oh please this is the second time I'm going through this kind of thing, first my brother now it's my son."

"Ahh, history repeats itself.." Sakura sighed  lowering herself onto the chair.
"I miss those days.."

"Dont we all?." Tenten smiled.
"I missed the time we pranked the guys... that was epic."

"Ha, that reminds me, I told Kellin about that, he almost bursted a lung." Sakura recalled fondly
"I wouldn't change it for the world... the life we have now."

"Me too, Sak, Me too."

Neji kept his eyes on his nephews, despite listening to the other students as they brought their presentations up for Marks, the grins that Kellin, Alex and Krist had on their faces were downright wicked and Neji hoped that who ever the pour soul that brought this on was sure as hell prepared.

As the bell rung, he took the chance to corner them, though the little buggers were giving him eager looks instead.
"Alright, spill it, what mischief as you all up to?."

"Mischief? Why would you say that dear uncle." Krist said tilting his head innocently, which fooled no one
That's to tell you how good they all knew these kids.

"Who do you think you're trying to fool? The words trouble and mischief and practically stamped across each of your foreheads. " He said, deadpanned as ever.

The kids snickered at his tone, crowding closer to him.
"Ryou's got a crush." Alex said with a snicker, like exposing his cousin's secrets was something he did every day.

"A crush?." Neji repeated, interest piped now.
"On who?." Okay, this was intruding, he couldn't help but want to poke his nose in it.

"Do you know the ice cream shop just a couple blocks away from here, what was the name again.... 'Cold Sweets' or something?."  Kellin said with a smirk.

"Yea." He drawled, knowing that store well, seeing as he has to stop there to get some kind of hard candy Gaara loves.
"Wait... dont tell me." He trailed off as it hit him.
"He likes..."

"Yup." Krist piped up with a mischievous grin, that scream trouble.
"And we're gonna set them up."

Unbelievable.... now they've become cupids. Neji shook his head with a laugh.
"I would like to help." Its decided, he'll just support Ryou from here.
"But I have got reports to write, lessons to plan out... you know...responsibilities. "

Alex huffed, crossing his arm over his chest.
"Dont make it sound like all we do is cause trouble."

"Dont you?."

"Uncle Neji, how could you?!."

They all bursted out laughing at that.
"Where is Ryou by the way?." Neji asked, resuming packing away the paperwork it had on his desk.

"He and Sachi are in P.E right now, it's better to plan when the victims not here." Kellin grinned, like an innocent angel... which you know.. he wasnt!.

Neji decided he didnt want to know what they really had in mind and ushered them out of the classroom.

The ice cream store was packed today.. of all the damn days. There were kids running around, adults were just mingling and Kellin was going to bust a vein soon.

"Oi, chill out." Alex said with a laugh.
"Come on, let's go check out the candies, I wanna get some for Teegan."

There was a huge selection of candy, honestly his teeth would rotten so fast with this much.
Kellin chose two small packs of simple Fruit flavored candies and a small pack of mints.. that was enough for him.
