"You're just a cutie arent you," Sayuri smiled down at the baby in her arms, her newborn grandson, little eyes blinked at her safely before they closed once again.
"Yes you are, such a sweet little boy."
Alex wrinkled his nose at the way his Grandmother was cooing at his baby brother. Takuya's little mouth was slightly open, his eyes closing peacefully.
"Grandma, I don't think he's gonna hear you."
"Oh hush, did you think I didnt do the same thing to you." She said with a small smirk, giving him a teasing look.
"The first time I held you, I wondered how did such a chubby baby came from my daughter. "
"Grandma!."
Mikoto laughed softly from where she was rocking a sleeping Ikiri. Their other grandchild was so quiet, although they could see the beginning of dark blonde hair starting to sprout on the top of the small head.
"Our grandsons were so adorable weren't they, Mikoto?." She said giving the dark haired woman a wink.
"So cute and chubby, makes you just wanna pinch those cheeks, dont you."
"You're sure right, makes me want to pinch them even now."
"Grandma Mi! Not you too!." Alex exclaimed with a pout on his face making his cheeks puff out and proving both his grandmothers right.
"This is tyranny! Both of you stop ganging up on me!!."
Itachi shook his head at his son's exclamation, he moved forward to take his infant son from his mother in law, lips twitching in amusement when she gave him a playful glare before handing over his child.
"Isnt that right, Itachi?." His mother asked, pulling him into the crossfire also.
Itachi moved to open his mouth when Alex piped up with a quiet shout.
"Dad no! Dont give into them!." Alex scrambled up, latching his arms around his father's waist as if that would physically prevent Itachi from agreeing with his grandmother.
"Wow, have you ever seen a pink haired koala before?." Sayuri grinned, and you could really see where Sakura got her mischievous side from, it's all In the Genes.
"It's my first time seeing one."
There was a snort from the kitchen, where Shisui and Deidara were making lunch, seeing how both Tenten and Sakura were resting at the moment.
"Mom, I don't think there's anything like a pink haired koala." Shisui's voice floated back to them, amusement clear as day.
It always melts Sayuri's heart when she's clearly referred to as mom by Shisui, when she first met the troublemaker her blood had latched onto him with a clear likeness.
"There is one in the living room at the moment." She called back conversationally.
"Its rare, so come take a look while you can."
Alex pouted, detaching himself from his father to latch on to his grandmother instead, squeezing with the right about of pressure to make her burst out laughing.
"I'm not any type of bear, grandma." He said shaking her slightly.
"Stop comparing me to one."
"He's more like a parasite if you ask me." Kellin said passing through the archway towards the kitchen.
"One you cant get rid of."
Alex shot up from the position he was in, his eyes lighting up at the sight of his twin. He was already in motion to prove his brother right when said twin moved, dashing out the backdoor with a smirk sent over his shoulder.
Itachi watched as his sons chase after each other, he could hear Seira shrieking, probably at nearly being trampled on. He shook his head, smiling softly down at his baby before sitting next to his mother.
For the time being, the house was peaceful.
Many times for the past couple of weeks, Kimiko wondered if her reaction had been a.... right one. With the way she behaved, there was no doubt in her mind that she had lost all trust from the ones who had welcomed her so warmly to their family.
