The Next Troublemakers

Chapter Sixteen

Alex wasn't In school for two days. That thought ran through Teegan's head as he sat In maths class. He hasn't seen or heard from the pink haired boy in two days. From any of the Akatsuki family matter of fact... Strange.

"Alright class that all for today, you can go." The teacher announced and Teegan wasted no time on bolting out of the classroom. So far his sister had left him mostly alone but he could tell she was up to something, It wasn't going to be pretty. No bullies spoke to him.. Nothing.

He missed Alex so badly, his touch, his smile. Everything. He looked up to see Suigetsu-Sensei walking down the hall and his eyes lit up, if anyone knew what was going on, it was him. 

"Sensei!." He cried running up to him.
"Got a minute?."

Suigetsu gave him a grin and nodded.
"Sure, what's up?."

"Do you have any idea where Alex and the others are, they haven't been to school in two days." He asked.

Suigetsu lost his grin and rubbed his forehead.
"Well kid, they're all probably at the hospital."

"W-what?." Teegan asked stunned.

"Kellin and his mom got shot In front of their business two days ago... Kellin lost a good bit of blood and Sakura had bullet wounds on her arms and leg.. On top of that she's fucking Pregnant..." He stopped and took a deep breath before he really lost his wits.
"I'm sorry that Alex hasn't been In school or has time for you right now... Look kid, Alex puts his family first especially his mother and siblings... Since his mother and aunts were kidnapped a few months back you would except the kid to relax now this happens... He'll contact you in a few days when he's sure his family is alright okay." And without a word Suigetsu turned and walked on.

Teegan was stunned. Kellin and  Sakura-Okaa-Chan were shot?. In the hospital?. Now he just felt awful about just worrying about Alex.. He was being selfish. If what his sensei said about Alex's mom and aunts getting kidnapped earlier then Alex must really be worried.  With a sigh he walked towards his class..

Later he would give the twins a visit.

Once he had open his eyes, they felt like they were on fire. Kellin squeezed them tightly hoping the burn would lessen, and it did. If only a bit.

He felt weak if he was honest, boneless. He felt something soft under his head, he opened his eyes to blink at the Iv pole to the side. Eyes sliding down to see pale skin besides his even paler one. He quickly realized that he was laying on his mom.

Kellin flickered his eyes downwards to see his sisters asleep on the uncomfortable hospital chairs. His father and uncles Sai and Sasori right besides them, his eyes landed on his twin and Kellin felt his heart constrict a bit.. What he told his mom in the store was only half true.

Truth was he was feeling like a third wheel and a burden..his brother was always with Teegan.. Not that he doesn't like the kid, he just wished that he could at least have a day with his twin... Everything was changing.
And honestly.. He doesn't know how much more he could take.

It didn't help to think that Alex had asked he wanted private time with Teegan alone.

"Kellin?." His mom's voice broke him out of his dark thoughts and he snuggled closer to her warmth, eyes burning for a whole different reason. Alex probably didn't even know what happened to him unless someone told him, and he was willing to bet it was Seira.
"How are you feeling sweetheart?."

He made a muffled noise against her chest and sighed, deciding to push those thoughts away for now.
"Tired...weak....sore." He mumbled.
His gorgeous mom laughed softly, pressing a kiss on his forehead.
