The Next Troublemakers

Chapter Fifty Seven.

Alex had opened the door, baby Nori held in his arms, bright blue eyes open and watching everything, making soft gurgling noises as Alex made faces at him, that stopped however when he saw just who it was standing opposite him.

"Huh." He mused out loud, hands holding Nori against his chest securely.
"Never thought I would ever see you  again."

Kimiko fidgeted, Alex's tone maybe playful but his gaze on her was cold as a glacier. Why did she decide to do this now?

"I'm... here to see Ryou." She said with the strength she could muster at the moment. Which wasnt much let her tell you that, her nerves were fired as it is.

"Is that so?." Alex asked, just to be a difficult brat, he looked down at his baby cousin and raised an eyebrow in question.
"What do you say Nori-Chan, should we let her see Ryou or not?.".

Nori gurgled in reply, little arms and feet flaring around, as if he also thought the idea was absolutely ridiculous. His small mouth open in a gummy smile bright blue eyes blinking up at him, it made Alex want to squeeze him like a stuff toy.

Instead he nodded his head sagely.
"Yes, I understand, great master." He lifted his head back up to give her a narrowed eyed look.
"Just exactly what do you want to see Ryou for? Is it to question him again?."

Kimiko felt a sharp throb peirce her heart at the lack of trust, that she caused herself, and the total protectiveness over the boy she had hurt.
She was saved from answering however when the other half of the twins appeared behind his brother, a palm reaching around to rest on the baby's head in Alex's arms.

"Figured something must be up if you're taking this long just to see who it was." Kellin drawled, eyes firmly locked onto the girl standing just outside the doorway.
"Well, come on in, might as well get this over with." He sighed, wrapping an arm around Alex's waist to pull him aside to let Kimiko in.

"Wait there, I'm going to get Ryou." And with that statement, Kimiko watched as Kellin marched up the stairs to retrieve his cousin.

"Are you here to apologize?." Sachi asked, coming up next to Alex with a look on his face that screamed disapproval at seeing her.

"I am." She replied, blinked at him desp6the way his expression was, she was here already and she wasnt about to back down because of how Ryou's cousins acted.

Seira came bounding down the stairs then, she hopped the last three stairs down, head snapping up and immediately her gaze landed on Kimiko.

"Huh, Krist owns me twenty dollars." She mused, zooming up back the stairs much to the amusement of the two boys standing there.

"She only bet him twenty dollars?." Alex grunted.
"What have I taught that child about gambling"

"She's going be fifteen soon, I think it's a bit to late for you, You do realize who our uncles are right?" Sachi asked drily.

Nori squealed then, his little arms wiggling in the air as if he understood the joke his older cousin was saying.
Alex and Sachi grinned down at him, cooing how adorable he was.

"Alex." Itachi's voice had all three of them lookingup, Kimiko's heart skipped a beat because she did not hear when the man approached, he was wearing a white and red apron, a small dish towel wiping his hand as he looked at them.
Kimiko never got to really look at the Twin's father, seeing him stand before her now, she could presume where the two brats got their looks from.

"Yeah?."

"Sit down while you're waiting for Ryou." Itachi's eyes flashed red for a brief second as he threw a glance at Kimiko.
"Nori might be getting hungry, let me have him, I'll give him to Nanami. "
