Back in Black Frostaria. The Dragon King and Grand Sorceress were on opposite sides of each other.

"A change of plans...? Understood."

The Grand Sorceress had turned to her right and spoke to no one but herself - so it seemed. Interestingly enough, it was the same thing Vermilion had done earlier. Only this time the Grand Sorceress had yet to be defeated by the omnipotent Dragon King.

"...It seems our short-lived time together has come to an end, Dragon King," the sorceress turned and faced him. "Perhaps we shall meet again, ...but I wouldn't plan on it. You never know what might happen in our time spent apart."

"You're leaving?"

"Isn't that obvious?"

The Grand Sorceress snapped her fingers. She then faded away into the dark corner of the room and she disappeared from the crypt. The Dragon King watched, and waited a few seconds after she disappeared before he started moving around again. But once he knew for sure that she was gone, he shook his head.

"Are we supposed to be rivals or something? ...I didn't feel a rival between us if there was one. She seemed so weak and fragile compared to Vermilion, ...so why was she trying to excite me about the possibility of us meeting again?"

If there's anyone I would want to face again, it'd be Vermilion. The Grand Sorceress, King Aveuis and General Zelox were all complete wastes of time.

The Dragon King looked down at the floor. At his feet was the body of the fallen King Aveuis. His body split in half, his face pale and his veins turned purple. It was obvious that he had long been gone from Sol. He had been sent to the Realm of Spirits and joined the others who had shared the Dragon King as their common enemy.

"...You failed your people. You failed them all. Allowing Frostaria to be corrupted has doomed an entire race, ...and it destroyed your legacy. Perhaps Queen Ashley can continue it on, ...but they certainly won't."

Elaine and Eris never met you I think, and they'll never be able to.

What a shame. If you were a better king and avoided the thoughts of revenge that diluted your mind, Elaine and Eris would've met their grandfather. They would've learned about Frostaria and the Snow elves who inhabited the continent. But alas, you had to ruin it.

Oh well. Frostaria wasn't that impressive anyways.

He turned and looked at the Snow elves' orb. It had been completely wrapped around in black and its insides were fully corrupted. It was now impossible to save them. This meant that the Dragon King had no other choice but to exterminate the continent and its people.

So he held out his left hand. Within seconds small black snake like beams protruded out of the orb and were absorbed by the Dragon King's hand. The more and more he absorbed, the smaller and smaller the orb became. At one point the orb was smaller than a pebble. Beyond that size it would've been missing to the human eye.

From absorbing the orb. The Dragon King felt the pain and agony of every single Frostarian that lived. Their voices and thoughts corralled him and filled his mind - overpowering his own voice at one point. He felt their souls and he could hear their hearts beating.

At this moment he had become their god, and soon their reaper.

Their extermination wasn't unwarranted. It was the fault of their foolish king that pushed the Dragon King into such a rigid situation. But luckily for him, he could feel the Frostarians crying out for freedom - demanding release from their suffering. Such feelings displayed justified his reasoning that the Black Curse could never be allowed to escape.
