Having left the Dracula Keep, Paladin wasted no time as he traveled through the forests of Transylvania, to the castle the Conservative Chapter belonged to. With Violet, Merelona and Charlotte with him, he was vigilant as he recognized that being ambushed had a strong possibility of happening.

And with the towers of the dark Conservative Chapter castle in the distance, Merelona and Violet turned their heads to the sides of the road they were walking on as they heard people running alongside them. Charlotte didn't look herself, but she too could hear it, so she tightly clenched Paladin's white cape.

"Do me a favor," Paladin stopped and looked over his shoulder, "protect Charlotte while I teach these vampires a lesson," he then turned back. "And this goes without saying, but... Don't be afraid to kill any of them."

Violet nodded while Merelona grabbed Charlotte and pulled her away from Paladin. Feeling the release of Charlotte's grip, Paladin stepped towards the Conservative Chapter - alone. Alphaspear gripped by his right hand, he allowed the vampires of the Conservative Chapter to close in on him, which they did.

Circling around in the sky, in the bushes off to the side of the road, and some standing in shades created by the tall trees, all of the vampires and their glowing sanguine eyes were noticed by Paladin, who could only smirk in excitement for what was to come. The dream of tearing the Conservative Chapter apart, and dragging Lord Tyrule out of his keep was one he had been waiting too long for.

As he continued to step forward, Paladin recognized that the vampires were trying to trap him. Not only were they surrounding him, but he could sense the vampires' magicka seething up from the ground - obvious sign of traps they planted ahead of time.

So without thinking it over, he steps into one of the traps; a red magic circle quickly circling around him and making the forest glow red, hands emerged from the ground and surrounded Paladin, they latched onto his arms, legs and neck - making him look immobilized. The Armored vampires then flew down from the sky and made a complete circle around him. With sly and confident faces they unsheathed their gold swords, and moments later they charged for Paladin - ready to end him.

Amusing... that the Conservative Chapter is.

Little did the black and gold vampires of the Conservative Chapter know about the Lord Inquisitor, and they knew even less about the Dragon King.

"Burn in my bastion of flames."

Alphaspear was then planted into the ground. Seconds later, rings of blue fire shot out from the bottom of Alphaspear and expanded throughout the entire vampiric circle. Roasting vampires and the hands alike, it didn't take long until the magic circle had been eviscerated away while the vampires were turned into ash.

Vampires who didn't jump down were shocked, but were still determined to fight back. They weren't the only ones too, for Paladin was ready for the next round. Excalibur flaming into his left hand, Dragons winds encased Paladin with new found speed and allowed him to jump from vampire to vampire. Slaying them left and right, opening their bowels and breaking their hearts, the Dragon King showed no mercy as he slaughtered the sinful Conservative Chapter.

When more vampires flew in from the sky, Paladin stopped and looked up. Raising Alphaspear to point at them, Dragon chains emerged from the trees and grabbed ahold of them - screams of shock and resistance heard as they rapidly descended into the forest of blue flames.

"If you're gonna try to kill me, do it right," Paladin demanded. "The Icarus Cult did a better job of fighting than you all--"
"For Transyl--"

A vampire bravely left the bushes that cloaked him and charged with his golden sword at the Dragon King. However, he quickly learned - along with the rest - that being brave would mean nothing in the end. For a single Dragon chain broke through the ground and flew through his stomach - digging back down into the ground afterwards. Immobilized, stuck in between chains, the vampire didn't realize what had happened at first, but when he looked down, his eyes quickly broadened in shock as his jaw dropped - screams of distress then followed.
