Back in Orion. Delta appeared outside the Royal palace of the Capital City. In the gardens behind the palace, he looked around and found it to be desolate. Not a single person could be found. No items that had been recently used could be seen. No footprints could be found on the stone bricks of the ground.

"...Odd..."

Delta waited a few moments. He wanted to see if someone would notice him and come out to say that a ceremony was going on - which would explain why nobody was there. But after a few minutes, Delta was still the only person outside the palace.

"...Is someone going to take me to Elaine?"

There was nobody who could take him to Elaine. In fact, not only was there no one to take him to Elaine in the gardens, but there wasn't anyone to take him to Elaine inside the Royal palace either.

This is an odd occurrence. It's currently midday; sapphire sky, snow white fluffy clouds floating above, and the perfected sun beamed down its golden rays of joy. There was nothing indicating that something sinister happened. So where was everyone?

Delta didn't question the oddity too much. For the most part he had no reason to. However, the tiny little fact that Queen Ashley may have been working along with the Black Frostarians was concerning. Since if she had been, Orion was in trouble.

But that had yet to be confirmed by the Grand Wizard or Time Manipulator. If she had indeed been working with the Black Frostarians or the Minotaur King, the Inquisition would've found out about it by now. It was likely he would've heard fighting by this time too.

He eventually entered the palace and walked the halls. He had expected to find some type of life inside, but he found none of it. The hallways inside the Royal palace were desolate. No servants, no knights, no citizens, no Royal lords or anyone else.

"...The palace is almost never empty. So where is everyone? The only thing that can cause everyone to disappear like this is a meeting. I don't hear one taking place, so... what else would cause this emptiness?"

Delta started becoming more concerned. At this point he hurriedly went over to Elaine and Eris' room. When he opened the door and entered, he found it to be empty.

Staring at an empty bed. He was able to see the sheets moved around enough to recognize that Elaine and Eris had recently been in the room. There were no signs of anyone other than them being in the room, so Violet and Merelona were likely somewhere else.

"...This... cannot be good..."

The search continued. Delta went on a tirade of opening door after door inside the Royal palace. At first he was knocking and then proceeding to slowly open them out of respect for whomever could've been inside. But when he found no one over and over again, he stopped caring and simply opened the doors. When he was running out of doors and time was noticeably passing by, he started kicking doors open and quickly searched the rooms.

He endlessly searched for the Dragon King's daughters along with his companions. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find them.

A breaking point was then reached. One final room had been left unchecked. It was a room that so happened to be named after the Inquisition, and had been so large that if a meeting was taking place then it would've been holding it.

The Hall of Inquisitors.

Delta walked over to the doors. He grabbed one of the gold door handles and prepared to pull it open - slowly out of respect for Queen Ashley and the Inquisitors the hall was named after.
