Travelling to the Realm of Knowledge. Paladin and Violet appear on a dark platform - the sky completely black as not a single slither of sunlight beamed through. It was as if a giant curtain had blanketed it. But both Paladin and Violet looked in front of them and were able to see a tall tower standing in front of them. The tower was made out of stone and had an endless amount of square windows starting from the bottom and moving all the way to the top. Golden light shines through these windows and onto the ground below - giving light to a place that seemingly had no source of it.
"Beautiful..." Violet says.
Beautiful indeed.
Something about the pitch black sky and the lights coming from this tall, tall... very tall tower. Something about the lights shining down making this a beautiful sight.
"Do you know anything about this place?" I ask.
Violet shakes her head
"Not really," she responds. "I've heard about the Realm of Knowledge, but I know zero things about it."
Well... I guess we're just gonna have to see how this place works once we're inside.
Entering the stone tower, Paladin and Violet walk into what can be accurately described as a golden lobby; golden lights shining down onto a gold and black squared floor, the entire room blended together as the walls in the room were made out of a special golden wood coated with a special substance that made it seem smoother than anything else.
And walking up to the reception desk for the tower. Paladin and Violet stand in front of the desk with a woman with glasses sitting behind it. The woman was wearing a white cloak and did not give Paladin or Violet any time out of her day - her focus being on the book she held in front of her face.
Should I wait to say something...? Should I wait to be addressed...?
Paladin and Violet turn to look at each other - both of them confused about the situation and confused about what they should do. Violet then takes the initiative; she turns back and shakes her head - then slamming her hand down onto the reception desk
"Excuse me," she says, "but I believe we require some assistance."
The woman behind the desk lowers the book - and immediately Paladin felt like he was looking at the daughter of Cesar; the long curly ginger hair of the girl along with her crystal blues eyes behind the red framed glasses she was wearing made him think about her.
Cameryn... is that you?
Obviously it isn't Cameryn, but this receptionist looks very much like her. They even have a similar personality; Cameryn wasn't the most friendliest person and was easily annoyed, this receptionist seems to be the same way, and seemingly she would rather be somewhere else but here.
"I guess I can help..."
"You guess?" Violet crosses her arms.
"Dragon King, what do you want I guess..."
Violet eyes narrow as she was annoyed with how the receptionist seemed to have no care in the world or realms for her or Paladin
"We're here to speak with the Prime Librarian."
"I guess that's fine..."
The receptionist raises her book and goes back to reading, showing Violet and Paladin that she had no desire to help either one of them, and she did not care about why they were there. This fact annoyed Violet and makes her slam her hand back onto the table
