Wait here.
Wait here was the command spoken to me by Creedo and the Shadowy figure, both of whom walking off after they had me stopped in the throne room, essentially they dropped me off so I could be alone by myself while they went and got Lady Saber for me.
I had no problem with this decision, in fact, I decided to take the opportunity to turn and look at the environment that was surrounding me, and analyze the room that I was in.
I could tell from right off the bat, this was the throne room of the Queen of the New Generation.
Much like the Grand Entrance, the throne room consisted of a mostly white room with a marble floor, dark tinted windows in the back of the room behind a completely solid white throne, with red carpeting leading up to where the throne was and surrounding it.
Leading all the way up to the throne room were white pillars that stood proudly, with a second floor area where people could lean over the railing and look down into the throne room, and attached to the pillars were banners that were on every single pillar, but also were hanging up in a row of seven behind the white throne itself.
The banners themselves were interesting to look at, and I'm not sure why.
Each banner was entirely colored white, and at the bottom of each banner was an upside down red pyramid with blacked colored circles that were spaced out and spiraled around the center of the pyramid, which had a black dot in the center of it.
Clearly, the upside down pyramid was the Symbol of the New Generation... but why did it bother me?
What did it symbolize?
I kept thinking about why the upside down pyramid bothered me for a long time, holding my right hand on my chin while I was thinking, and I eventually grabbed at the side of my cape and brought it forward just a bit, so I could look at the center of my cape.
And when I did, I found the reason why I thought the Symbol of the New Generation seemed familiar.
The Symbol of the New Generation was similar to that of the Symbol of the Inquisition, both symbols consisting of pyramids, the Inquisition's symbol containing two more pyramids and no circles, while the New Generation only had one pyramid with five circles and a single dot on it.
I wonder...
Was the upside down pyramid supposed to be showing that the Inquisition was in turmoil? Was the five black circles showing that the Inquisition was being targeted by the New Generation?
I'm not sure... but I do know one thing.
Whoever this Queen of the Elves, Queen of New Generation is, she is someone close to the Inquisition and is someone who is out for our demise.
But it also meant that the list is limited to: Lady Athena, Ashley, Lady Saber, Ava, Mordred, and maybe a few others who have been associated with us.
I wonder... could Lady Saber be the Queen of the New Generation?
She's close with the Inquisition, knowing every single Inquisitor including the Lord Inquisitor and the Forbidden Inquisitor. She knows many of the people we have associated ourselves with, she was conveniently near me on the Night of the Long Knives, she was in the room with Lord Benevolent when he died, and all her investigations so far into the New Generation have come up flat.
The possibility of Lady Saber being the Queen of the New Generation certainly is strong... that I cannot deny...
But, she couldn't possibly be the Queen of the New Generation? What reason could she possibly have for becoming the Queen of the New Generation, when she was already the Lady of House Saber, a decent-sized house that was allied with the Inquisition and had some influence over the Kingdom of Orion.
